Cute little town, nice people.
Cute little town, nice people. There is a nice coffee shop just a block away on the main street and a Philly bar with great food and beer and nice people one block away as well. Hotel was so surprising clean for a Motel. There are fresh beautiful flowers everywhere. Nice breakfast. Staff is professional and friendly.

This was a quick stop on my own personal Drive, Hike, Explore journey. I stayed one night in Rifle. I ate at Sammy's Rocky Mountain Steakhouse. The server was very personable. I have a lot of food sensitivities and several allergies. They did their best to accommodate my needs. I enjoyed a lovely House Burger (minus the cheese and bun) over a garden salad and I was thrilled they had olive oil for the topping. (most restaurants don't supply olive oil). I paired that with a Smoked margarita (and a glass of water) that hit the spot after a long day of traveling. I popped over to City Market and picked up some more water and healthy snacks for the road and went back to my quiet, safe, clean room at the Comfort Inn (refrigerator in the room). I woke to the view of the sun rising against the mountains (see photo attached). I wish I could have stayed longer and explored Rifle, yet it was time to get on with the Driving portion of my adventure.

I really enjoyed our visit to Rifle, Co had Lunch at the Brick House; they had great food; and then traveled and visited Rifle falls.. Rifle falls was beautiful; a must see if you have not been there..

The town is ugly and messed up with construction, I'd like to come back when all the construction is done, but the trails and camping areas are beautiful. We walked up to Rifle Falls and enjoyed a beautiful waterfall and cave view, which was really cool.

The hotel is fine but the policy of no housekeeping during a multiple day stay is annoying. I ate breakfast in my room and was surprised to fine the dirty dishes there when I returned. I stayed here before but only for one night so the housekeeping wasn't an issue.

Located close to Rifle State Park which is what brought us to the area. The breakfast was fine. What you would expect, pre-made omelets, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, and then some Continental items.

Loved being welcomed by all the beautiful flowers 😊. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast area looked a little sketchy at first but it was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had.
