We don’t do anything here except stay at an airport hotel one night and it was perfect for that. There were many hotels nearby and we saw people walking in the early evening maybe to walk to a hotel with a restaurant and bar.

Romulus has a variety of older hotels, all needing a face...
Romulus has a variety of older hotels, all needing a face lift. Very few facilities are within walking distance of the hotels. The Sheraton has two other hotels within their property/parking area which are also within walking distance of Tropical Smoothie, Big Boy and McDonald's. It's hard to choose, because commerce is all linked to airport traffic. People working in the service industry appear tired and over worked. Treat them kindly and smile!

The location of Courtyard Detroit Metro Airport Romulus is excellent, with very convenient access to Detroit Metro Airport and major highways. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and professional.

Close to expressway and the airport. Price was great and staff was very friendly.
Snack machine was expensive and poorly stocked. Room was more than a little uncomfortable being it too along time to marm it up from 58°.

The staff was awful.
The staff was awful. It took me 30 mins to check in and I gave the man a physical credit card to pay for my room however they charged a different credit card because "they automatically charge the card you have on file at 6pm, all hotels do this according to the woman I spoke to" and added a $3 airport fee that was not explained at the time of check in. Simply letting me know what was going on could have made this a completely different review. but I realize customer service is a lost art. Simply refunding my card and charging the correct card could have cleared this completely up. Even if you are just a budget hotel being hospitable cost nothing and goes a long way. Take some pride in what you do.

They sent the shuttle to get me right from DTW. They were friendly and helpful. Facilities were all clean and in order. Room was cozy and clean. The fre breakfast was good and had decent options. I would stay here again and recommend friends

Honestly, the price was the selling point. I figured for the price, we would get what we got, so I'm not disappointed at all. For the downsides, none of them were appalling enough for me to pretend I didn't get value out of the hotel, so I really did.
Pros: free breakfast included in the booking fee; free airport shuttle every 30min, all hotel staff that we encountered were super friendly and helpful, price was fantastic, proximity to airport and other amenities is excellent.
All the pros outweigh the cons.

A competitively priced hotel. Located conveniently for DTW airport. A basic continental breakfast. The room was as expected for this price bracket. It contained all the expected features, TV and coffee machine. The room was clean and functional. The heating worked effectively. The free hotel shuttle was an additional bonus. Convenience stores within easy walking distance.
