SwitzerlandThe Rose Hotel Chicago is a modern, seemingly brand-new hotel (despite it being a few years old) minutes away from Chicago O'Hare. It is 100% worth the extra few minutes (5-6 minutes) in a taxi or the hotel's complimentary shuttle vs. the Hilton O'Hare whose location does not make up for the hotel being really tired, run-down and really needing a renovation. Every single staff member with whom I was in contact at The Rose seemed to be generally happy to be working at the hotel. They were very flexible and willing to accommodate to my needs, from a very late check-in, a late check-out, as well as a few needs I had as I am pregnant. The lobby and restaurant have plenty of spaces to eat, relax and work. What was a terrible travel experience with delayed and cancelled flights was made so much better by this hotel and the team. Thank you!

The entire staff-- EVERYONE single person i encountered-- was excellent, friendly, helpful, and kind.
The shuttles are so convenient, but the vans really need shock absorber replacement. ( The road to the airport is not in great shape!)

Rosemont is a nice area, pretty safe and tons of hotels/restaurants. It is a little chaotic getting around though. Most restaurants are a little tough to get to, as they're located in/as a part of the hotels. The Rosemont Outlets are a definite must-go, as is Woodfield Mall, where more restaurants and hotels are located. The convention center there is also a very nice venue.

My e-mail said we had reservations at Rosemont, but our hotel was actually the Cumberland. Could have been much better direction to the hotel. I believe that's on Booking.com which I will most likely never use again. It caused a lot of problems. The hotel at Rosemont seemed nice. The one on Cumberland, where we eventually had to go, was not so nice. A very worn out hotel.

A very expensive family trip!
A very expensive family trip! We ended up sleeping on separate floors and sweating most of the day due to faulty air conditioner in 1 or our 2 rooms. (78 degrees) We spent our family time making continuous trips to front lobby, packing, moving, or unpacking our belongings and sleeping on sperate floors instead of conjoined rooms. Breakfast was great!!!

Good location for our activities. Street view is deplorable….newer hotel is located attched(?) behind a rundown building. Close proximity to All State Arena which had several different programs going on during our two night stay….
Caused time consuming traffic jams each night.

With the wifi internet 5.99 for a day and the 5 star charge...
With the wifi internet 5.99 for a day and the 5 star charge for room for a 2 star motel, there was no one at front dest after 10 pm. theree was a 1.75 charge for extra towels per day, now get this 2 people are suppose use use 2 towels for a 2 days. There was no extra wash cloths, there was no house keeping at all in fact unless you stay 7 days you don't get that service. The sidewalks was cleared but the drive was not,

The location near the airport and thr Allstate Arena was fantastic as we were there for a concert.
The staff member Jesus who checked us in was very friendly, professional and helpful.
The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, we were able to get extra blankets as needed and we regularly saw cleaning staff. The hotel was clean and tidy.
We appreciated the shuttle service to the airport!

The hotel in general has good installations and there’s a Starbucks inside the hotel. This is very handy!!
The room in general is confortable and the bathroom too.
It’s located just a couple of steps from the metro station, and the trip to downtown takes around 40 minutes :)

Overall good experience. Clean and comfortable, very spacious. Breakfast was good. Check-in was very quick and smooth even though we walked in looking for a room since we didn’t like the hotel we had reserved.
