We travel a lot with our family of 5. This place is by far the cleanest and most comfy place we have ever been. The kitchenette is fully stocked and the pool is warm and clean! They also have a very cool breakfast set up and a neato coffee/tea maker for free in lobby! Thank you BW.

This historical home was exceptionally comfortable, beautifully maintained with high quality linens, fantastic hosts, extraordinary 3-course breakfast and amenities such as an afternoon wine tasting. Conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. We loved EVERYTHING about The Stewart Inn.

Lui and Fox were super amazing upon arrival at the front desk. I loved my room and the view of the mountain/ ski hill was fun! I ordered from the restaurant and guest services were very nice in taking my order along with the two girls who brought my meal to my room. The fireplace downstairs in the lobby was beautiful and inviting.Great location very close to everything in the downtown Wausaw area. A very pretty hotel! I was able to sleep in in the morning with no interruptions and it was very quiet( .I've endured certain other hotels in Wausau where the housekeeping staff will continually keep opening my door starting at around 9am to yell into my room ; asking if I was ready to check out or not. So rude !) This definitely was NOT the case at the Hilton Garden Inn ..thanku ! Will definitely recommend!

We ended up stayed there on the night of December 31st 2025...

We ended up stayed there on the night of December 31st 2025 and January 1st 2026. And the stay there wasn't good at all there was teens running in and out of the door in the pool area and jumping in the pool when it was very cold outside making me and my kid's veey cold and we really couldn't use the pool at all because it ended up got really cold. I had complain about it the next day and I had to get 2 rooms because of how many people was staying with me and all they had offered me was 19 dollars back in credit.

I did not like that my room was smelly and the carpet and...

I did not like that my room was smelly and the carpet and windowsill was the source of the issue. I tried to get a different room within about 1-2 hours. They told me they were booked out and that I couldn’t get a different room. They did move me to a different room the next day, but they did not give me anything off of my bill for having to put up with that room the first night. The other room was ok but this really put a damper on our stay.

We stayed while visiting family in the area.

We stayed while visiting family in the area. Some of our family even came to the hotel while we were there to visit with us. Rothschild is close to many things in Central Wisconsin and has a lot to see and do.

people were good during the day, evening and night guy was our issue. Nightmare of a stay and do not recommend ever staying at this place. The holiday inn across the street was superior just with a visit by one of our group visiting with ppl staying there. Much cleaner and much nicer place.

Nice big room. Comfy bed. Also had a platform pull out bed. Clean. Nice restaurant in hotel with good food. Connecting door to room next door must be thin, because it let noise in. People next door noisy all night and sound coming from connecting door not the walls

Stoney Creek Hotel is absolutely awesome. Staff was very accommodating to our needs and requests. The rooms are clean and attractive (love the North Woods theme!), and the pool/whirlpool/game room was a blast. The location, just off the interstate, is convenient to restaurants and all shopping needs. Breakfast included.

The location was great. Easy to get to and right next to the expo center. The decor was really cute and gave the hotel a cabin feel. The hotel was quiet even with kids staying there for a sporting event.
