About Saint Louis

Saint Louis, a vibrant city in Missouri, United States of America, is known for its continental climate. With hot summers and cold winters, the city experiences a wide range of temperatures throughout the year, from highs of 90°F in July to lows of 20°F in January.

The city offers a variety of attractions, from the iconic Gateway Arch to the historic Old Courthouse. Visitors can explore the city by foot, car, or through the MetroLink light rail system. For sports enthusiasts, catching a Cardinals baseball game at Busch Stadium is a must-do.

Saint Louis boasts a rich cultural scene, with blues music deeply rooted in its history. The city's cuisine is equally diverse, featuring dishes like toasted ravioli (breaded and deep-fried ravioli) and gooey butter cake, a dense, sweet dessert. The surrounding region offers beautiful natural landscapes, including the Mississippi River and Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks in the U.S.

Despite initial concerns about safety, my personal experience contradicted those worries. I discovered that the area around the Arch and Ballpark Village was safe to walk around during the day, Had mouthwatering tacos and margaritas at Condado Tacos at the Ballpark village. ,To explore further, we opted for Uber rides at night and were rewarded with the breathtaking sight of the Anheuser Busch St. Louis Brewery lights. Explored the St. Louis Zoo, a free and delightful experience. Overall, while some caution is advisable, my trip revealed that with sensible precautions, St. Louis can be a wonderful and safe destination to explore. Will have to check out the botanical gardens on our next visit.

The city is empty. Nothing to do. On a Saturday afternoon downtown is empty. No shopping, no bars down town. If you have to go to st Louis, make sure you’re in a nice neighborhood out of centre. There are quite a few.

Our family spent Labor Day weekend at the Forrest Park Drury Inn and Suites. It was a very comfortable stay with everything that we wanted: great breakfast, comfy beds, and nice pool area. We spent time at the wonderful and FREE St Louis Zoo and the very interesting Science Center. What a great get-away!

If it was not for Anheuser-Busch, I would not come back to St Louis. The Arch was good and was a monument to see but Anheuser-Busch was the highlight of our trip. The only reason I would return would be because I would go back to see Anheuser-Busch. They know how to treat people and are just an awesome place to go.

The homeless and drug addicts around the ball park and the arch was very disturbing. Not very safe for people especially for children to be seeing drug addicts being high running around on the grass by the arch acting crazy when you are trying to enjoy a vacation. Doesn't feel safe to be out sight seeing.

Great location walking distance from Busch Stadium and downtown. The pictures match the hotel. Loved the private entrance and parking garage ($25 self parking for 24 hours). My boyfriend and I stayed 1 night to go to the Cardinals game. The lobby was beautiful. Front desk was very nice and friendly. We got a free upgrade to a junior suite room. The room was huge and very nice. Quite stay. The game ended up getting postponed. We plan on staying here again!

I felt like the interior king room was large. I also found that room was very clean. The bed was comfortable for me; I had no trouble sleeping. It was nice to have amenities in the room like a microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was well stocked in the morning and the cooked food was kept warm. I also liked that they offer the evening kickback. The staff we talked to was friendly and helpful. The hotel location is great for downtown sightseeing.

Have stayed at many hotels in the downtown area and the Hotel St. Louis by far exceeded my expectations. From parking, check in and the excellent amenities were above my expectations. The rooftop pool and vintage vinyl record player in the room was a bonus too. Our corner king suite was simply a pleasure to stay in. Huge room, the hallway and large bath was almost over the top. Will be the only place we stay in the future downtown.

Everything. Great space themed hotel. Staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful and informative to help our sightseeing. Room was large with lovely comfy bed and great shower. The Delmar Loop is a good place to stay with boutique shops and good restaurants and easy access to downtown using the Metro to visit the Arch and museums. Comfortable area to walk about. A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay Great.

Hotel was conveniently located downtown. It was right off of the bypass. But didn’t have any issues with noise from the traffic. Could see the huge Farris wheel from our hotel. Was minutes away from everything located in the Downtown area. Hotel also has an indoor pool and a basketball court located outside. My family didn’t use either but both looked nice.

Our view was beautiful! The location is great, close to the St. Louis Arch, and close to so many restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable. I like the fact of the security precautions( keyed elevator to our floor) especially since it is in a downtown area.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is downtown, yet parking doesn’t feel that way. It was super easy and convenient for parking! Not a lot of traffic. The hotel room was quiet. Huge plus!! Comfy bed with a good views. 10/10 recommend!

The hotel was close to the airport which was a huge plus and why we decided to book this place. The pool had comfortable temperatures and the hotel seemed overall clean and it had a decent breakfast. Beds were also very comfortable.

The location was downtown, not too far from the ballpark downtown. The only issue was trying to get an Uber when leaving different venues, and because of how busy the downtown area was, I was unsuccessful.

Basic hotel in downtown of St.Louis. I guess the area is dodgy, because there was a security tower in the parking lot. lol. Otherwise it was decent place to stay overnight.
