Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites St Louis South, Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott St Louis Downtown, and Hampton Inn St Louis- at the Arch got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Saint Louis.
Our family spent Labor Day weekend at the Forrest Park Drury Inn and Suites. It was a very comfortable stay with everything that we wanted: great breakfast, comfy beds, and nice pool area. We spent time at the wonderful and FREE St Louis Zoo and the very interesting Science Center. What a great get-away!
If it was not for Anheuser-Busch, I would not come back to St Louis. The Arch was good and was a monument to see but Anheuser-Busch was the highlight of our trip. The only reason I would return would be because I would go back to see Anheuser-Busch. They know how to treat people and are just an awesome place to go.
The homeless and drug addicts around the ball park and the arch was very disturbing. Not very safe for people especially for children to be seeing drug addicts being high running around on the grass by the arch acting crazy when you are trying to enjoy a vacation. Doesn't feel safe to be out sight seeing.
Spent time at the Arch, on a riverboat, exploring downtown restaurants, and attending MLB games. All were delightful! Be sure to arrive with time to spare at the Arch so you can meander through the museum area to learn about the city’s importance in the settling of the West.
Didn't see the sites there was a lot of crime just want to go see family and the casino and it was packed kind of full of smoke and alcoholics wouldn't recommend for anybody to go there unless they like that stuff too much drugs in the motel and a lot of homeless people not my cup of tea
St. Louis is a very big city and it would take a long time to really enjoy your stay there. I would love to come and stay for about three or four weeks it would be a great adventure. However, considering that it is a convention type city, I’m not really impressed with how long the restaurants stay open especially places like McDonald’s in other fast food restaurants where is more convenient to get food.
This is a heritage sight turned into a hotel and events venue. It has a classic vibe and a very good value for money. Facilities are good except there seem to be no breakfast (unless you request it from the kitchen at a cost?). The area is nice, just a short walk away from the Gateway Arch and downtown with a tram station a block away to reach out other areas like the Forest Park, a pleasant green place in the mould of Central Park NY. There are a few shops towards the front of the hotel including a grocery store, a patisseries and a cafe
Have stayed at many hotels in the downtown area and the Hotel St. Louis by far exceeded my expectations. From parking, check in and the excellent amenities were above my expectations. The rooftop pool and vintage vinyl record player in the room was a bonus too. Our corner king suite was simply a pleasure to stay in. Huge room, the hallway and large bath was almost over the top. Will be the only place we stay in the future downtown.
I like nearly everything about this property. usually a 10 out of 10 for the stay. If you want the quietest hotel experience in a downtown area, this is the hotel for you. Concrete and brick- not wood and drywall. Funny thing is, they have ear plugs in the room, but it is the quietest place I have ever stayed. Full service bar and restaurant on premise. Great selection of 24 hour snacks as well.
Hotel was conveniently located downtown. It was right off of the bypass. But didn’t have any issues with noise from the traffic. Could see the huge Farris wheel from our hotel. Was minutes away from everything located in the Downtown area. Hotel also has an indoor pool and a basketball court located outside. My family didn’t use either but both looked nice.
The hotel was conveniently located downtown to all the establishments we wanted to go to for our bachelorette party. The rooms were nicely sized, and the atrium bar area and even cocktail hour was a great way to start of the night.
The hotel lobby / bar area was the exceptional thing about this place. It's stunning to look at. There's a fun light show in the evenings projected onto the ceiling. The breakfast was superb too.
The view from our 17th floor double aspect room were amazing, so close to the Arch. Our room was huge & extremely comfortable. Staff at the hotel were all friendly & helpful.
Overall it was an exceptional stay. Great location by the St Louis Arch and downtown area. The front desk staff was helpful and kind. I would highly recommend it to others.
The staff were wonderful. Good location, not far from downtown. Secure, free parking. Free beer, wine and snacks during happy hour.
The hotel was very nice and a great location to get to downtown easily. It was also nice having restaurants and stores nearby.
security was great for being in the downtown area. easy access to your vehicle het the parking lot is secured
