Hotel Audubon is located in Sainte Genevieve and has a bar and a shared lounge. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen, along with free WiFi.... The hotel recently remodeled and the rooms are very nice. New beds and bedding. Nice large rooms with king beds. The staff was fantastic and just great people in general. They were very helpful with pointing out things to do and places to eat in St. Genevieve. They checked in regularly asking how they could make our stay better. The location is excellent as well in the heart of downtown. Exceeded our expectations!
Located just off Interstate 55 and less than 10 minutes’ drive from the center of Perryville, this hotel features a seasonal outdoor pool. Free Wi-Fi and a continental breakfast are provided. Nice clean hotel. As long as you stay in the non smoking side. Smoking side smelt like it, but we only had to deal with that when doing the laundry. Convenient with good breakfast. Fine for a road trip hotel for somewhere to lay your head.
A seasonal outdoor pool and fitness center are featured at Comfort Inn in Perryville. This hotel with free WiFi access is 3.7 mi away from Perry County Community Lake. I really enjoyed the stay. The front desk Clerk was very patient and understanding with me considering I was checking in at 2a in the morning.
Pleasant historic rural river town with interesting sites, shops, and eateries. Take the Mississippi River ferry if you can. Oberle Meats has smoked ribs to take out (ohhh sooo good!!) @ 11:00am Saturday morning only, while they last (not long). Then go visit one of the local breweries or wineries. I am bias to Charlieville.
We enjoyed a great weekend starting with the crown tiger sanctuary then microbrewery & winery. My boyfriend had one of the best sirloin steaks he had ever eaten at the Anvil. Next morning we started with touring historic downtown lunch buffet at the old brick house & a 2 mile hike in pickle springs natural area which was great! Can't wait until we can return for another weekend:)
The wineries, except for charging for samples. Shouldn't charge if you want people to buy your product. The architecture was pretty, just Internet built up shops more than the should have. Nothing to do there really
Huddle House which is set right next door is extremely handy though it is no longer a 24 hour Restaurant here in Ste. Genevieve. The best 'take away' we could suggest is to book your Reservation thru the Motel directly....they are very accommodating and mean what they say unlike the Booking Agencies who have the tendency to overbook. Management here is 'Top of the Line'. We would recommend Microtel any day. In addition to this your ' Connection to the Internet' which is located near the Front Desk is effortless and Management is always available and helpful at Ste. Genevieve. Enjoy!!!
