What is not to like? The location is idyllic. Each room looks onto Sister Bay and hills surrounding it. The light fixtures in the room are stylish and modern. The bed looked to have been purchased a few days before. The TV screen is utterly enormous, and the DVD player easy to use. The shower is state of the art, and the flooring is spectacular. The breakfast was plentiful and the offerings varied. In the morning, three deer stood in front of the office. Ten seconds later, seven more came out from the bushes. The hiking path to town allows you to avoid cars and amble through nature into downtown Sister City, which is liberally peppered with good eateries and brew pubs. The staff were all very nice and helpful in every regard. This may be listed as a two-star hotel, but one feels like a king staying there.

Loved the atmosphere. Although this is not on the water, it is close enough. It is a little dated in decor, but the living room furniture was new in both rooms that we were in. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite and there was a lot of space. Courtesy movies available at the front desk. We would stay here again.

Sister Bay is the hopping place to be in wonderful Door...

Sister Bay is the hopping place to be in wonderful Door County during the summer months. There are great public areas right on the water, restaurants that have outdoor seating or to go food to take to the beach, lots of fun bars and a super family friendly brewery The Peach Barn. Junes Coffee shop and Wine Bar is also a great place to grab a delicious baked good or a coffee drink.

Excellent vibe for Fall Season and great food venues.

Excellent vibe for Fall Season and great food venues. As great as the Fish Boils are, and I highly recommend, ours seemed very rushed and staff was a little off in timing of service--food was excellent. Looking forward to returning in spring/summer.

Sister Bay is quaint and colorful, with lots of dining and activity options. We at at the Boathouse on the Bay and Al Johnsons (both excellent), shopped at On Deck (every year!) and loved the view of the bay! WE spread our time (and money) around to all the villages as there are so many options, including on the lake side. We come during the week to avoid the crowds during the fall festivals (we're old)...

Even though it was early in September, crowds were still...

Even though it was early in September, crowds were still there. However parking was still pretty available. The popular restaurants had wait times of 45 min or so. The weather was chilly so boating and swimming was out of the question.

Sister Bay is beautiful.

Sister Bay is beautiful. There is lots of free live music in the evenings, and even movies in the park. The traffic is pretty heavy during peak times, but you can walk to most places if you can navigate the hills. We had Swedish pancakes at Al Johnsons and a nice dinner at Lure. We took a Sunset Cruise with live music that was great. We stayed seven days, and we probably could have done everything in about 4 or 5 days, but it was nice to just relax in this beautiful place. Love the shops too!

Sister Bay was very expensive and way over crowded. Our stay at Coach Lite Inn was awful, concerning our room. Our room was not cleaned - my Mother found a fake nail on her sheet in her bed!!! There was an earring back and dirt on the floor by the desk. It was so humid and damp on the room that the floor was wet. There was a dehumidifier that helped some but not much. One bed was tight up the an old air conditioner that did not blow out very cold air - it did not cool the room enough. There was water all along the floor - I dropped my phone behind the bedside table so I needed to move it out and it was disgusting back there - there was even a syringe!! I don’t know if it was from a baby’s medication or someone using drugs!! There was a small table with a couple chairs pushed up against a dresser - there was no way we could fit around it to eat or plays cards or anything. I was very disappointed by our stay. Thank goodness was we were able to spend so much time driving and enjoying the sites around Door County. On a positive the front desk people were nice. The Wild Tomato has wonderful pizza.

A great place to stay and we will definitely return. The full kitchen was perfect since you can easily spend $40 or $50 just for breakfast in a place like Sister Bay. Two bedrooms, 3 TVs, excellent WIFI, Super clean. Even a balcony to relax with a glass of wine after fighting Door County traffic. And since it's secluded in the woods with its own parking you don't have the parking problems of Fish Creek and Sister Bay.

Sister Bay Inn was located off the main road by just a few blocks. It was convenient to get to see the area. The Inn is a relaxing place with a firepit to sit around on the chilly evenings. We really enjoyed it and would stay there again if we make it back there.

I liked everything about this property. The hotel room or what I thought was a hotel room. It's actually an apartment with the stove and refrigerator and everything and it's a beautiful facility.
