I really like that I was able to book weeks ahead and my reservation was not forgotten. The property contacted me to ask which flight I was coming in on and they just left my receipt and directions how to get into my room attached on the door so I didn’t have to wait for somebody at 11 o’clock at night or try to wake somebody up at 11 o’clock at night. It’s a small hotel so there is no staff at a desk all night. The prices for hotels in Sitka are really high. This was the second cheapest hotel, so I was expecting far less than I got so I was very pleased. I loved that there was no disturbances.. We enjoyed our stay and will be staying there again in the future! A+ 💯

Came for our granddaughter's graduation but saw so much more. Went to the Raptor Center and the Fortress of the Bear. Wonderful places. Toured the Bishop's Palace and also walked out to Totem Park. Would have like to take a boat ride or gone fishing. Driving along the coast was beautiful.
We have a cousin in Sitka who transported us throughout the community. That was a big advantage. She also helped us plan our visit. We loved Totem Park, the summer classical concert and the Father’s Day crab feed.
Beautiful and friendly place. Restaurants were great, and there was a lot to experience. Websites of attractions were often wrong in opening times which was frustrating. We particularly liked The Beak, Mean Queen and the hotel restaurant for meals. Sitka Tours was awesome.
It is a great place to go for fishing or relaxation. It is a walking city. Very much enjoyed the Fortress of the Bear. I also enjoyed visiting the Russian Bishop's House and the Russin Orthodox Church. Very informative.
Sitka is a great place to visit. The scenary is fantastic, ocen and mountains. It is an easy town to find your way around and lots to see. I did not find any decent places to eat. Meals are expensive and maybe average. I will go back
Sitka was the final destination after an 11 day Inside Passage Alaska cruise. It is a neat little town with a lot of history (Russian Orthodox Church) and pretty when the sun is shining. The Salmon Hatchery, Raptor Rescue Centre and Bear Fortress were also worth seeing. We enjoyed a visit to the National Parks Centre and the Totem Pole Trail very much. This is an easy hike and highly recommended for anyone visiting Sitka.
