Offering stunning views of Mt. Edgecumbe and the surrounding waters, the Longliner Lodge and Suites offers lodge accommodations and fishing charter packages in Sitka, Alaska. Clean, liked the location on the water, enjoyed walking to town and sites nearby. Little extras were good too-- the charging station by the bed lamp, the table and chairs. Temperature was comfortable and I liked being able to open the widow at night.

We have a cousin in Sitka who transported us throughout the community. That was a big advantage. She also helped us plan our visit. We loved Totem Park, the summer classical concert and the Father’s Day crab feed.
Beautiful and friendly place. Restaurants were great, and there was a lot to experience. Websites of attractions were often wrong in opening times which was frustrating. We particularly liked The Beak, Mean Queen and the hotel restaurant for meals. Sitka Tours was awesome.
It is a great place to go for fishing or relaxation. It is a walking city. Very much enjoyed the Fortress of the Bear. I also enjoyed visiting the Russian Bishop's House and the Russin Orthodox Church. Very informative.
Sitka is a great place to visit. The scenary is fantastic, ocen and mountains. It is an easy town to find your way around and lots to see. I did not find any decent places to eat. Meals are expensive and maybe average. I will go back
Sitka was the final destination after an 11 day Inside Passage Alaska cruise. It is a neat little town with a lot of history (Russian Orthodox Church) and pretty when the sun is shining. The Salmon Hatchery, Raptor Rescue Centre and Bear Fortress were also worth seeing. We enjoyed a visit to the National Parks Centre and the Totem Pole Trail very much. This is an easy hike and highly recommended for anyone visiting Sitka.
Many sites and activities are within a few miles walking distance. The Tlingit culture is evident as is the local love of the arts (music, dance, theatre.) Ludvig’s requires reservations but if you can get them, it is worth the stop. It is small town and geared to tourists so shops may or may not be open!
No breakfast, but nearby breakfast cafe. Excellent location Very fresh, new hotel with convenient lay out. Front desk (Nickie) was excellent even provided large umbrella and help with any small issue.
Location was great, near most interesting sites in Sitka.
