Everywhere we went , every store, resterant , Wedding Venue...

Everywhere we went , every store, resterant , Wedding Venue on County Road , the locals were very friendly and welcoming, except for the Hotel Staff! All in all we will always be sure to visit family, but will choose a most decent Hotel! We rented a Car from Oscar's car rentals, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

Water pressure was great. Size of room was good.

Water pressure was great. Size of room was good. We were closest to the highway on a Friday night in winter, and it wasnt loud. Clean and comfortable for the price. Glad we got a room without carpet; no funky smell.

We enjoyed renting EBikes in order to bike 27 miles along...

We enjoyed renting EBikes in order to bike 27 miles along the Sparta-Elroy Trail. Also saw the fiiberglass graveyard… random free site. The area is beautiful and I am sure a visit in the Fall would be great to see. We also enjoyed an ice cream treat at the Dessert Shop. Fresh fruit popsicles and homemade ice creams and cookies. Getting around Sparta is super easy.

I was surprised to see the size of the room, plenty of walking space, room for luggage and sitting. The king mattress was so comfortable! The room was very clean. I was a front office manager at a resort in Florida and cleanliness is everything, I appreciate it. The breakfast was great, lots of variety, the breakfast room was decorated nice and very clean. The hotel was in a perfect location for our needs, 10-20 minutes to what we needed. We will definitely return!

Breakfast was good, coffee is terrible though. There is a very good coffee place downtown Sparta however, 1 mile away. Location is perfect if biking the trails, the beginning at the old train station is very close. We loved the jacuzzi in our room after the 40 hour trail ride!

This is a dated, older place that does its best to accommodate you. It is clean. The beds are ok. And it is reasonable. I have stayed here several times and would not hesitate to return. It is not fancy but it does the job, and I have no complaints
