The hospitality was outstanding, very friendly and helpful staff. The suite we booked was spacious, modern and very clean. The kingsize bed was the right mixture between soft and firm. Breakfast was good, nothing special, but sufficient and complementary. Cold breakfast in buffet style and hot breakfast on request. Ideally situated close to the freeway exit and only about 10 miles from the city of deadwood.

We visited Spearfish Canyon. It was beautiful.

We visited Spearfish Canyon. It was beautiful. The walk down to see the waterfall was 1.5 miles. It was steep at some spots but would level off to where almost everyone should be able to make the trek. We saw Mountain Goats. Great scenery. Loved it!

Great town with access to the Black Hills.

Great town with access to the Black Hills. Wish I had brought my fly rod and gear. Nonna's Italian restaurant was amazing and walking distance. The Green Bean was literally next door and had perfect coffee and pastries. The town park and fishery area were cool, but the Roughlock Falls were really nice to visit.

Anything in the Black Hills is great and Spearfish is often...

Anything in the Black Hills is great and Spearfish is often overlooked for other locations near the 'attractions'. The town has a lot of mountain charm without all the tourons that other communities (especially the gambling ones) have. It is a great place to relax and take in the mountain vibe.

I absolutely love Spearfish area. I love Spearfish Canyon.

I absolutely love Spearfish area. I love Spearfish Canyon. The drive is so beautiful. The river is so beautiful. And it’s fun to stop and walk in it. The wildlife is amazing. There are three waterfalls that are very pretty. I couldn’t recommend the area enough.

Spearwood Canyon is great first thing in the morning.

Spearwood Canyon is great first thing in the morning. The Fish Hatchery is a great place to wander in the late afternoon/early evening. Nice Beer Brewery in town. The Blackberry-Chilli ale is good.

It is a beautiful spot with great restaurants and coffee shops. Antunez and the Spearfish breakfast restaurant were excellent. The Blackbird coffee shop was delightful! There is lots of hiking and fishing available.

Fantastic place to stay in Spearfish Canyon. On the doorstep to 4 treks where you can take in 2 beautiful waterfalls and breath taking views. We even did the 76 trail which goes up 1000ft (not for the unfit!) but was so worth it! The food at the restaurant was also lovely and very tasty. All the staff were exceptional. Thank you! 😄

We really appreciated the bar and Happy Hour. This was the only hotel on our trip that had one. The location was excellent with good restaurants within walking distance. The car stayed in the parking lot. Good access to the Freeway. Spearfish was our favourite location on this trip
