Sun Valley Atelier Studio - Serenade is a vacation home with a sauna, located in Sun Valley. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher. A TV with satellite channels is available. The location, the cozy space, the cleanliness... everything was amazing! I grew up in Sun Valley and my family has since moved, but staying here felt just like staying at home!
Atelier 1080 is a vacation home with a sauna, located in Sun Valley. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and there is a private bathroom. A TV is provided. Conveniently located to Sun Valley resort, and only a mile from Ketchum. I liked having access to the resort's amenities. The unit was clean, and very homely, we were able to do our laundry right in the unit. I also love that the unit is located next to a creek.
Located in the ski resort city of Sun Valley, Idaho, Elkhorn Village is just 0.5 miles from the Dollar Mountain Ski Hill. It offers an outdoor pool and a hot tub. I loved the rooms. They were homey and comfortable. They were the nicest rooms that I had ever booked. Close to everything. I loved having the separate living room with the fireplace.
Is it important to you to be entirely encased in granite and marble while using the bathroom at a ski resort? Do you appreciate giant chandeliers hung in enormous log-cabin style lodges? Then come to Sun Valley! We came for the skiing, not the fancy, but found ourselves enjoying it all. Despite the opulence the resort has a laid back vibe, and the town of Ketchum is filled with friendly folks - you can tell it is a real community. We'd return.
What a gem! Sun Valley hasn’t changed much since I was there 40 years ago and yet you realize you are surrounded by history and luxury without feeling like you don’t belong. Just another ski town really, but with touches of history and the scenery is indescribable. The skiing is top notch and the lodges are beautiful. The town center has plenty to see and do as far as shopping and eating are concerned. Just remember that most restaurants don’t have a liquor license in town of Ketchum. You can get beer and wine but no hard liquor. Sun Valley restaurants all have a liquor license so just figure that out for dinner if it means anything to you (it did for our group, many of whom don’t drink beer or wine). Great restaurants in both towns. Enjoy all that being outdoors means, skiing, xc, hiking, biking etc. so beautiful!
Skiing, skiing, skiing on long groomed runs. We were fortunate to be there on best snow days all season. I come every year and never disappointed. We used the bus from Elk Horn to River Run. They have cubbies to store gear so you don’t have to wear your ski boots.
Sun Valley is a wonderful place. We have visited numerous times, but always in the Inn. We enjoyed trying a new place and new restaurants. Breakfast at Christina's was excellent. We will return.
Lots of hiking and biking trails and many other attractions within an hour or so drive. Galena summit provides some good views of the Sawtooth Mountains and the chairlift ride at Bald Mountain is not to be missed. Locals are very friendly too. One thing to know is that dining out can be pricey.
We went at the wrong time of the year when the full summer season was not yet flourishing. Therefore most stores and coffee houses, as well as restaurants were closed by 5pm on a week night! We could not appreciate the shops as we had to leave the next morning. We found an excellent Asian fusion restaurant with good service and mostly locals dining at several blocks away. Ketchum has many upscale restaurants and beautiful scenery but no live entertainment mid-week. I would suggest going when the tourist season is in full swing as this seems to be a lovely village.

Sun Valley resort is huge: there is a whole complex (restaurants, shops, and accommodation in multiple buildings). They've tried to re-create the feel of a little Swiss ski village, and the Konditorei in particular has an explicitly Swiss-German menu (fantastic for breakfast). It's a resort, so everything is expensive, but it is a lovely place and absolutely paradise on the clear, not-too-hot day we spent there.

The bed in the mbr was comfy. The layout of the condo was good and we didn't feel like we were on top of one another. All the towels were nice and white and having a washer/dryer in the unit was a big plus.

The town of Ketchum is a wonderful place to be in the early summer. The location being right above the town next to dollar mountain was beautiful.
The location was good for going to Kethum and Sun Valley. The couches were nice and so were the bath towels.
Comfortable and close to Sun Valley village, pools, etc. appreciated the Rec pass which, for us, was a must
