This Mount Sunapee resort features spacious all-suite accommodation with a kitchenette and flat-screen TVs. Staff on overnight Friday 2/16 or early morning Saturday 2/17 (two gentleman unfortunately I do not know their names)- went above and beyond helping with my son. I really appreciate it and will never forget their efforts. Excellent customer service and good people! Thank you so much.
We loved the area and the closeness to New London Barn Playhouse in New London. The beauty and peacefulness of the area made for a relaxing stay. We ate delicious ice cream at Sanctuary Ice Cream and a great breakfast at Tuckers.
An easy ride going up there! Great for leaf leaping! Amazing place! Nice and quiet neighborhood, perfect for a nice family vacation. Had an early lunch at The Country Kitchen, the place was packed but definitely worth the wait! Their pancakes are to come back for! Service was good too! Gondola ride at the Mt. Sunapee is a must.
Lake Sunapee State Beach, Mt. Sunapee with winter and summer activities for all plus three hotels all within a mile for all. Suni restaurant, the Chalet and the Anchorage in the harbor. The harbor has it's own unique charm with outdoor entertainment and a dinner boat. This nice little town is not a crowded resort town but a great getaway for families and couples.
Mount Sunapee is a great family ski mountain and is rated as the best groomed mountain in NH. Lake sunapee, approximately 10 miles long and 2 miles wide is pristine and never overcrowded. In the summer Mt Sunapee has bike and hiking trails in addition to challenging obstacle courses and zip lines. Sunapee Harbor is a quiet, relaxing getaway with neat little shops and home to touring boats with dinner cruises. It is a typical New England lake harbor wit enchanting views. There are very good restaurants in Sunapee, New London, Newberry and Henniker all within a few minutes drive
If your looking to boat on the lake in the summer or ski in the winter, its pretty there but Sunapee doesn't have much more than that to offer. Its a quaint old town, not much goung on. Yoe need to go to New London if you want some great places to eat and shops to browse or Clairmont for movies, malls, shopping. Sunapee is pretty but not a lot going on.
I love the whole entire feel of Lake Sunapee. It is relaxing and friendly. The harbor is a little bit of heaven. The Anchorage provides just the right amount of a "night life" atmosphere. We were there on a Thursday night which means it was very quiet, but they had a "trivia" night, which was fun. Friday and Saturday nights are "hoppin" at the Anchorage. Food is good too. Nice neighborhood atmosphere. Rented a boat and went on the lake the next morning - it was awesome. Especially because I got a wave and a "good morning" from a "very special resident". Made my entire trip surreal. Thank you Lake Sunapee.
