We went to have a late dinner and a drink.
We went to have a late dinner and a drink. Even the tipsy tomato was an unexpected fun element to this trip. People in the town are very friendly . It's lit up so beautifully at night. The lake effect is a highlight as well. I want to go back when we can stay longer.

The place is old and run down.
The place is old and run down. With old hard pillows, and musty halls. When water was pouring in the bathroom ceiling we were given towels to clean it up ourselves. That was the last straw. It could have been sewer water for all we knew. Unbelievable 🤦♀️

The location was good but the weather was so bad that we could not enjoy walking or doing much outside when we stayed. We had a lovely view.
WE enjoyed doing some shopping in Two Rivers though. It is a very nice little town and would love to explore it more at a better time of the year and definitely better weather.

Very cute town, could have spent more time exploring. Lovely location. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, very good food. Also took advantage of the freshly made breakfast choices that were included.
Being an older building the room was a little musty but not bad for a lakeside lodging! We stayed because it is a short drive to Green Bay which was our final destination. Definitely would stay again!

The motel is under renovation at this time and one can see why there is a need here and there. I'm handyman so I do notice details, and I can say the renovations to the exterior (see old photos on google images) and the front office bode well for the rest of the motel.
Even with the rough edges the room, bath, and bedding were clean, and we were warm and comfy.
The location was nice and quiet, and Jesse was personable and helpful. The price was right too! We love little privately owned hotels and encourage everyone to support them.

Loved the pool and hot tub. Very clean and well maintained. Front desk person was awesome, so friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfy. It was easy to find the hotel and easy to get from there to other spots either north or south. Great view of Lake Michigan and it looked like an easy access to the beach (although across a very busy road). I bet in the summertime this is a terrific place to stay.

Good breakfast, but you need to be there early as items get picked over and are rarely replenished. Now charging $1.75 a day for a safe in the room, whether used or not. Odd policy.
Hotel location is excellent with the Waverly Restaurant and Bar right a crossed the street. Good parking and safe part of town. Close to the lake, if that is important to you.
