This hotel is less than one mile from I-95 and a 15-minute drive from Rome, NY. It offers a gym, indoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The shuttle driver Willy was so nice and accommodating. The staff was nice. good experience. Great location, easy transportation to the golf course.
Verona La Quinta Inn and Suites is 15 minutes’ drive to the International Boxing Hall of Fame. The hotel has an indoor pool and offers free Wi-Fi to guests. It was convenient. The staff asked us if there was anything else we needed at free breakfast, and could they pull the items off the serving area. They said "you can sit here as long as you like." The desk clerk when we arrived in the late afternoon was friendly and very funny. The shuttle to Turning Stone Casino ran 24 hours, that was great.
Guest rooms at this Verona, New York motel include 32-inch flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. The motel includes a gym and is adjacent to the Turning Stone Casino. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and common areas. Basic breakfast included. Convenient location for our plans. Just down the road from Turning Stone casino.
In downtown Rome and across from the Fort Stanwix National Monument, this Quality Inn features a seasonal outdoor pool and deck. Free Wi-Fi and an on-site restaurant are also available. Very convenient location while bicycling the Erie Canal - was right on the route. A Denny's restaurant was in the same building. Walking distance from a cool Italian neighborhood with good eating options.
Relax Inn is located close to Interstate 90, providing easy access to many local attractions and businesses central New York has to offer. Pulling up, the outside was disconcerting, but I saw on the sign outside it said it was under new management and going through updates so I was hopeful. We had the King bed room and the room was surpisingly large with a loveseat and coffee table as well. It included all you would need (fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer and TV). There was a large mirrored closet as well and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast bar was closed for reconstruction so we didn't get to try that, but it was the only inconvience. I did hear people talking next door late at night so the walls seem to be quite thin, but other than that we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.
Disappointing from the turn into driveway, potholes (Some Large), paving in parking lot in need of repairs (Cracks catch suitcase wheels). Entry way carpet very muddy. Multiple interactions with Desk Staff, brought not one smile, staff need training on Software on Computer System (Complained it was new and they don't like it.) Security latch on room door didn't work (Needed simple adjustment). Room was good size, but lacked amenities, like a book giving check-out time, Breakfast hours, Shuttle service hours, in general all the info one wants about the property. Cleanliness of room sub-par. General lack of maintenance, filthy windows, filthy bent window screens. Breakfast would have been better except for really cheap paper plates, cheap plastic utensils (Not all plastic utensils are cheap.) A weeks baked on batter, on one of the Waffle makers. Will not return nor recommend!
Went to the Whitesnake show at the casino. And did some gambling. Was very nice to be shuttled back and forth. The front desk was very accommodating. Original room had a barking dog next to it and they were able to give us another room. Didn't sleep very well as the mattress was not comfortable. If I had to I would stay there again okay.
An otherwise excellent stay was marred by the managers attitude. We had asked for an early check-in, and when we arrived, we were told the very earliest we could be in would be 1 pm. The sullen manager made it sound like it was a huge imposition by doing so, and she brushed us off to the desk clerk. Maybe she was having a bad day, but a welcome and a smile for the guests should be the first order of business. Other than that, the room was great - large, spotless and quiet. Breakfast was just the usual continental fare, no hot food that we could see at 7:30 am.
The hotel was great, the casino was amazing. It's huge, with so much to see and do. Restaurants, events, lounges, bars, a club. A great place for adults to have a fun day or night. I would recommend anyone to go there.
I was there for a high school reunion. My memories are what brought us. It’s a farming community with a big casino resort, Turningstone. We only attended reunion functions and they were not in Verona. Attend a VVS football game. I guarantee, you will see a good game.
We started using LaQuintas because of the great staff we met who became friends... Bartender Stevie Lisa/ security Jose and manager Peter. Front desk staff are always pleasant and fun as well. First trip was to check out turning stone... after that we come back to hang out at LaQuinta bar with friends we made there and friendly locals that stop in.

Upon arrival, the check in staff was super friendly. We booked a king room and as we entered the room it was a 2 queen bed room. We talked with the staff at the front ( Trish Buress) and she immediately apologized for the mix up and without hesitation she upgraded our room. The room was super clean, and the bed was very comfortable! Thank you Trish for making us feel welcome! This hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to Turning stone casino!
