Host was super communicative, providing all the specifics way in advance of our check in/out time. Everything we needed, or might have needed was provided. Her unit is immaculate, the furniture and beds super comfortable, and it is beautifully decorated. Location couldn’t have been better, building very quiet, and the hot tub/spa facilities amazing! Would highly recommend!

Clean and beautiful historic little town tucked into the beautiful PNW forest. Friendly people everywhere. Not a lot of eating options but good food wherever we went. Although it is right off of I-90, it's quiet and so convenient if you needed to just spend one night while on a road trip. Staying longer gives you a lot of options for outdoor recreation which I highly recommend.

What a great community and very friendly and walkable.

What a great community and very friendly and walkable. So much history, mining, devastating fires of 1910 and bordello's. Several museums. Lots of great dining options. The 1910 Coffee Hut does a nice drive thru does an excellent job. Our evening meal was very nice at the Blackboard Restaurant, a nice bakery in the a.m. and Italian restaurant in the evening. We toured The Oasis, a bordello that operated until 1988. We overnighted at the Stardust Motel. An older property that has been updated. Well run and well kept. Exceptionally clean and very quiet. It was walkable to historic downtown for sightseeing and supper.

Wallace is an awesome little town that almost feels like a movie set opened to tourists. Its the center of the universe... that alone means ya gotta swing by. Its a great stop over. You can walk the town and poke your head in to all the shops in a hour our two so I think 1-2 nights max on the stay meeter. A great place if you going skiing on the boarder or traveling to or from Montana and need a layover.

You can walk the entire downtown core.

You can walk the entire downtown core. There’s a lot of history surrounding Wallace; we could have stayed longer to learn more. We ran out of time to walk the stairs throughout town. Con: We’ve never seen so many dogs walking the streets, in the shops, and even on the counter of a bar!

I enjoyed the small, quaint, historic town, nestled in among the trees and mountains. My family loved the silver mining tour, shopping, eating dinner at The Fainting Goat, breakfast at the Brooks Hotel, and the close proximity to The Route of the Hiawatha Trail. This friendly little town is easy to walk around. We had a great time in Wallace!

Wallace is a lot of fun.

Wallace is a lot of fun. There was not any of the famous special events happening. I visited primarily to take advantage of all the GREAT ATV roads around. I went in the spring to do some mushroom hunting. Found morels and slippery jack bolets. Did some fishing. Enjoyed lunch at city limits. Hung out at the metals bar and enjoyed some local musicians and drinks. Wallace is so much fun. I will stay again.

Quaint old hotel, right in the middle of town. Just loved it all. I would recommend the Mine Tour to everyone coming to Wallace. The City Limits Pub is also great for dinner.
