The staff - Hannah, Daisy and Ann in particular - extremely friendly and helpful - check in process was very smooth and slick. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious and bright. There was a very good area for my wife to do her make up and hair - a facility that is sadly lacking in the majority of hotels - huge bonus points! Breakfast was well varied and extremely good value.
We used the hotel’s laundry service - bit more expensive than other laundries down the street but the service was excellent - great service.
The hotel was located ina quiet area with a 10-15 minute walk down to the river bank where the night market was.
I would thoroughly recommend the hotel - our stay was superb and we would definitely stay there again when we go back to Hoi An!

We absolutely loved staying in Hoi An and wished we could have stayed longer. As someone who is working in Hanoi for several months, it was so nice to get out of the city. Hoi An is truly enchanting! We did a family-run tour with Mr. Cu, which was phenomenal. We also enjoyed making our own lanterns in a class. So many good food options and lots of fun shopping to be had. Definitely add Hoi An to your Vietnam itinerary!

Hoi An is beautiful and a haven for tourists.
Hoi An is beautiful and a haven for tourists. One has to be okay with crowds of tourists to be happy in Hoi An old town and the surrounding areas.
We found the town to be easy to navigate and beautiful. We travelled to the My Son ruins with ease and the trip from Danang airport was simple. There are many tailor shops (I think I read 500) so this can be a little overwhelming. If one wants to browse in shops, or even glance into a shop, expect much attention from the owners.
It was a beautiful base for a few days.

If you’ve had enough of the manic Asian cities, then Hoi An is a real gem. Old town is absolutely stunning, day or night, with quirky little shops holding almost everything and food - you will certainly need a long holiday to try it all. Da Nang is only a $15 taxi fare away, if you really need to top up on traffic and nightclubs, but My Khe beach in Da Nang is a must do as well.

Our stay in our cute little Zest resort in Hoi A was fantastic.
Unfortunately , the visit of the old town itself in July is a bit overwhelming. It is really overcrowded with tourists. (although it is a lovely town).
Going to the beach was also a challenge as it also was holidays for the Vietnamese, you couldn't even access the beach because of the scooters/ motorbikes.
I would maybe come back but during the low season.

Hoi An is a lovely little ancient town that still captures the essence of what it once was. The town is full of lots of tailor shops, Bao Diep was my shop of choice which was a amazing experience in itself - but there are loads to choose from, and the closer you walk towards the river, theirs lots of souvenir shops. It’s a great town to take a step back out of the usual busy Vietnam you can potter around and just browse shops for hours. At night Hoi An changes and the night market is wonderful to browse. Definitely get a lantern boat at night - amazing experience and relatively cheap too, perfect for couples. Food wise you have to try morning glory original and madam khanh bahn mi - two highlights for food for me

Quiet and ideal location in Old Town close to the night market, waterfront attractions and an endless choice of restaurants nearby. The rooms are a good size with their own bathroom, cleaned daily. Breakfast is good, choices including omelette, Banh Mi, fruit and more which set me up for a good day out. We loved the Vietnamese cooking class and village tour booked through the homestay. Our hosts were able to suggest some local attractions and restaurants and made sure our pre-booked transport was timely. A lovely family atmosphere.
We loved staying at Fireworks Homestay, without a doubt the best place we have stayed yet! The family who lives there are so nice and really helpful. When we arrived they gave us recommendations on where to eat, and what to see while being in Hoi An. Fireworks Homestay is located close to everything in Hoi An, both the beach and the Ancient old town. They have bicycles you can borrow for free, and a delicious cheap breakfast. Overall a great place to stay with the best host while visiting Hoi An.
Would definitely stay here again!
Best hotel I've stayed in in Vietnam! The staff is excellent and they try to do anything to make you feel welcome; They spontaneously offer you a glass of ice tea when you are in the pool or help you book for your next destination. Even the standard room is very spacious, clean and comfortable.
The hotel is right on a quiet part of the beach but you still have a few restaurants and bars nearby. The old town is a 5 minute drive by grab (around 70k dong).
We stayed at the hotel a little bit less than a week. We are traveling as a family of 5 including 2 young children.(2 and 4).
We had a great time. The location is ideally placed between the old town and the beach. The room is fine, breakfast is great and overall this is amazing value.
Special mention to the staff with whom the kids and my non English speaking father connected alot. They really took great care of us.
10/10 would do again
Hoi An Palmy Villa is one of those little gems. The facilities are great, nice large rooms, very friendly and helpful owners (family) and staff who do anything to please. Nice, big pool. In a great location near Ba Le market so easy going to either Old Town, the beaches or the rice fields. For long staying guests they even provide a free lunch one day for you with traditional Vietnamese meals.
