Great facilities, everything clean new and a kind of posh. Sweetest most awesome staff, recommendations regarding food and entertainment were all very good (I thought they’d tourist trap me). And walking distance 10-15 min to all nice places. Very safe.

The best hotel we stayed in Vietnam. A few steps from the historic center of Hoi An, it is quiet, clean and well maintained. It has all the amenities one needs, the rooms are spacious and with lots of natural light, lots of windows but you have your privacy at the same time.
The water pressure in the bathroom is perfect, the staff is very friendly and efficient, they helped us book tours and transportation to Da Nang. The pool looked pretty clean and maintained, but we didn't get a chance to use it as we weren't in Hoi An for long. We liked everything overall and will definitely come back when we are back in Hoi An.

A beautiful riverside town with well preserved old architecture dating back to when it was a trading port and one of the most famous places to visit in Vietnam. It did not disappoint. Unfortunately the weather did as we were there in the wet season but that did not dampen our enthusiasm. With its cobbled streets and lots of lanterns throughout the town it certainly is very colourful. We did a boat ride and lit a lantern on the river, visit the Japanese Bridge, relax in one of the many spas, and of course shopping is fun!

Alsahar Villa was an amazing stay.
The Lantern Boat ride was stunning, there are a lot of places to eat around that.
Avoid shopping in that area though, it's costly.
do take a 2-wheeler and drive down to Danang. It was fun.

We stayed in Hoi An for three nights which was exactly the right amount of time, perhaps even slightly too long. Though it is beautiful, we found it a bit too touristy. The same shops offer the same kinds of merchandise and it feels really focused on selling, selling, selling, rather than having any kind of authentic, interesting experience. It is still worth seeing for the lovely river views and to have a chance to experience the world-class tailoring!

So much history!!
Need at least 4 to 5 days here to experience it all.
Have a beautiful meal by the river & watch the colourful lanterns & candles light up the night
Absolutely beautiful experience.

It's a nice place.
It's a nice place. People usually do not highlight Vinwonders Theme Park, but it's a great place for kids, mainly for the river safari, Giraffe, and bird feeding. Take the buggy option at Vinwonders, as it is a long walk; buy tickets from the official counters. Add a day or two extra to relax and do nothing but stroll the cute restaurants, cafes, beaches and markets. Do not miss the Memories show (closed on Tuesdays; try sitting in the theatre in the English section and the top row of the front zone). Try to be in Hoi An at the time of the full moon; the entire place is more magical.

Hoi An is a small city that has a great ambience, especially at night in the old town where hundreds of lanterns light up boats, cafes, shops and surrounds. Food is varied and tasty with many cafes and restaurants throughout the city and old town. It is easy to hire and ride by cycles around and beyond the city as traffic is usually not too busy. A visit to the Coconut village and a trip on the river in a round boat is a must. Hoi Ans old buildings, especially the French- styled, are impressive. Shopping is also worthwhile as you can have lanterns, shoes and clothing made to order and completed very quickly! Hoi An is a great place to visit!

This was the best accommodation I have stayed in during my Vietnam travels. Dao, the owner is an amazing person who is taking care not only about the cleanliness of the rooms and the whole homestay but she is also very friendly, helpful and beautiful person. At the end, I have extended my stay as I was simply feeling so good there and the location is just perfect. It is located close to the river and beach and you can very easily and cheaply get to the old town by Grab or bike which you can rent at the hostel.
Amazing boutique hotel, stayed in one of the villas and would love to come back to enjoy the pool/beach! Super friendly team. Great base away from the hustle and hustle of Old Town Hoi An. We did have to get a grab/taxi to get around (you could use bikes or scooter) so something to keep in mind depending on what one is looking for (something to consider for frequent visits to a tailor for example). Breakfast was great and varied , offering both Vietnamese and western options
a boutique hotel in quiet area, a lot of details in the decor and furniture. the team has put in a lot of effort to keep the place in perfect condition. love their vintage postman bikes, we cycling around to explore the old town, paddy fields and beaches. thank you ❤️
Lovely small hotel with nice rooms (the one with balcony). Perfect location between beach and old town. Best!!!! breakfast I had in Vietnam, super nice staff, helping you with finding the right busticket. Free and always available bicycles.
Lovely place to stay, owners were like a family for us and helped us with everything. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Location is also perfect - close to the Old Town and to the beach. Greatest homestay we’ve been in Vietnam so far.
