The facility is well maintained with beautiful gardens. The owner of the property took his time to come and greet us and was genuinely interested in understanding our culture and where we came from. We felt very welcome. The host went out of his way to offer us free breakfast on our first night.

A lot more can be done to improve the road infrastructure.

A lot more can be done to improve the road infrastructure. Advertising of tourism info and service offering to be made readily and easily available. Tourist attractions of Vaal and Oranje river join flow must be main point for attraction, advertise these. It seems like a nice place to enjoy short breaks, long weekend etc.

Lyk na lekker dorpie in die huidige SA -- kry munisipaliteit om die twee riviere se bymekaar kom plek dringend te opgradeer word -- dit is waarvoor ons in douglas oorgebly het -- Baie swak en mens moet daarvoor betaal en kry geen bewys van toegangs fooi !!!!! Totaal vervalle !!!!

Friendly people.

Friendly people. Not ordinary city life as most of the stores close early. But worth the trip. Weather was unpredictable but pleasant for most of our stay. Everything you needed was in close proximity to each other. The safety of the area also made this trip more pleasant. Thank you Douglas.
