Hazyview is a small rural town with close proximity to the Panorama scenic route and the Kruger National Park. In itself, Hazyview is a non event. It does however have two shopping centres for basic necessities, a number of restaurants and three petrol stations. Traffic is surprisingly busy for a small town and the roads are in shocking condition. As a base for exploring the surrounding attractions, it works if you find the right accommodation, of which there is plenty along the Sabie River. But pick somewhere where you have things to do, like one of the resorts, on the days you don't want to be driving, because town centre has nothing to recommend it.
This Blue Jay Lodge was just like home. Comfort, Peace. Wonderful comfy bed. GREAT food. Loved Hazyview. Loved the people, Everything I expected and more. Easy access to airport. Easy to find places to eat and shop. I would come back from America any time!
The coolest area away from the busy and noisy town. Ideal place for unwinding and relaxation and spending quality time with family and friends or couples especially suitable for bonding with loved ones.
Hazyview is a busy city in the midst of avocado and banana farming area. Very close to the Kruger National Park. The village has about three shopping centers and everything is available what one can buy in Cape Town as well. The people are very friendly and helpful. Sightseeing places are a lot, like mountains , waterfalls and the KNP close by .
what I liked most is to see wild animals including the big 5 in its natural environment in Kruger national park which was about 10 minutes drive from Hazyview to the gate. if you want to see the wonders of Nature come to Hazyview and its surrounding places which include the Graskop areas about 30 minutes drive from Hazyview. There you see the so called God's Window and many waterfalls. What I did not like. A Road from Hazyview to Graskop is not well maintained.
We absolutely loved the accommodation it was beautiful and our hostess went the extra mile to make all our activity bookings for us. She is exceptionally attentive to her guest and makes sure that you feel welcomed and special. We truly had a wonderful time and created beautiful memories.

The breakfast was great in a very nice setting- so were the dinners . The staff were very helpful and friendly all round. We did not have time to make use of the pool and the recreational facilities as we attended a conference in Hazyview. The location at the KNP is great and we managed to squeeze in some self drive game and scenic viewing which is always amazing and relaxing. We will certainly recommend Nkambeni to our friends and associates as a good value and delightful breakaway destination.

We had a wonderful stay at Mdluli! The rooms were exceptional and the staff so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beyond our expectations. This is truly a luxury tented experince. The property overlooks a watering hole and you can watch animals from the pool area or from your tent. The access into Kruger National Park is amazing. This is a treat hotel for couples or families. And the food was great!
We had a wonderful time at the Hotel, the rooms were clean and spacious and not to forget the Hotel stuff that is friendly and very well informed about the area. The food is great and the Hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and a nearby mall with the variety of popular shops. The Hotel is central to all the tourist attractions. We loved every moment

I wish to compliment Liza and her small staff for excellent service under adverse conditions. It is evident that the lodge has not been taken care off hence information provided in the brochure listed within the rooms were incorrect. As a 5 star boutique hotel I would expect honesty to be given to guests before their arrival.
I had a challenge that the accommodation did not include breakfast. Nomally most accommodation they include bed and breakfast was shocked when I was told the price did not include breakfast. One of the rooms had broken cupboards and did not manage to.use the fridge.
EVERYTHING! Staff, facilities, location all excellent! The staff, Arlene, Prince, Prudence, Musa and Petunia all deserve a special mention for their exceptional work. The hotel is centrally located. Lovely play area for kids. Overall good value for money.
