About ten kilometres off the N9 through ruggedly scenic country over a winding dirt road, this farm presented blessed quiet and repose. Welcomed at the gate by very friendly staff, I was shown to a very clean and well-appointed cottage which would be just the place for a couple who just wanted to get away from"it all". All facilities for self-catering are well provided for but remember that shopping as far away. A shower large enough for two to save water... On entry, I was greeted by an exquisite bouquet of roses raised in the home garden of the farm's located within distant view. Nothing artificial here. Small touches throughout gave a sense of happy arrival. The farm raises cattle and sheep and I glassed several blesbuck in the distance on one of the farm fields. Breakfast is included and one can order an evening meal at additional cost. I was delighted by both which were very generous.

Elephants Lodge is located within the malaria-free Bellevue Forest Reserve, home to wildlife such as lion and buffalo.

Service was amazing. We went for our honeymoon, and they were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond. Rangers were very knowledgeable. Giraffe walk was an out of this world.

We meet a staff member at Bellevue forest reserve who took us to the cottage and showed as the amenities, leaving us with the keys. We were reassured about security and safety in walking on the property. It was a superb site, we were on our own and had good views of the hillsides and game, - so much to see. Most exciting were the giraffes, also bellboy, zebra, impale, nyala, springbok & eland - more than we could wish for. Also, we were close enough to Addo to spend good time there.

The Wild Olive Sanctuary Accommodation has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Paterson. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace.

Uniquely Situated in the Addo Concession (extra fees & charges - but they're well worth it!) We booked Cottage 1 - Private Pool, Outdoor Shower Staff are excellent - from Veronique and Jenna right to the servers and our Game Driver "Micky-Lea" (sp? 🫣) 5 ⭐️ hospitality - they seriously are accommodating and seeking to make the guest experience, the best possible Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the early a.m. sunrises and evening sunsets on the property. The inner garden and courtyard are just beautiful... especially in the golden hours
