The property is well situated in Marloth park, in a very calm area. The rooms are well maintained and equipped. The food (dinner and breakfast) was fresh and excellent. We had the chance to see a lot of animals and feed a zebra, just in front of our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We hope to come again!

Wild game - albeit tame with all the visitors by now - is roaming freely between properties and one gets up close viewing. However, very little fodder available for natural grazing and game now has to be fed. Dirt roads to each property, and in winter incredibly dusty. Dirt roads not in great condition for sedan cars and not recommended. Marloth Park is not for everyone's taste in holiday accomodation

I have no complaints or regrets.

I have no complaints or regrets. Everyone should try it, it is the most relaxing, de-stressing, de-compressing. An outdoor fire, an outdoor crisp splash pool which was terrific for 39 degrees. Dual head showers. The most incredible luxuriant bed. A safe secure outdoor bath as you look up at the stars, glass in hand and late night lounge music. A fantastic relax occasional animals come by kudu, nyala, bushbuck. Giraffe and zebra in the distance. And resident bush babies. Yet it also inspires walking to enjoy the beatiful bush. I feel treated and terrific

Animals roam around between houses and can be fed with pellets and some fruit/vegetables which can be bought from a small Spar/other small shop. Just keep in mind that these are still wild animals although they come up close!! At the house where we stayed there was a family of Bush Babies living in their small wooden house!! There are about 3 different security companies in Marloth Park, making it reasonably safe to stay. There is a big restaurant overlooking the river for those who would like to eat out, as well as some other restaurants/coffee shops at the business center.

We loved our vacation, Marloth Park is a really awesome place offering holiday makers a everything they would need without having to travel far for the basic groceries. The only thing I feel Marloth park is lacking is a self-servicing laundromat as not all units offer washing machine facilities. If they could provide this service, it will help families out a lot especially if you want to stay and additional few days.

    Favourite Place: Mvuradona Safari Lodge.

Favourite Place: Mvuradona Safari Lodge. We ate every night at Mvuradona. It is easy to get around Marloth Park, whether you're in a vehicle, walking, running, or cycling. Nothing to avoid. It’s unique to nature and wild animals, always keep that in mind.

Just wow, what a beautiful house! We loved all the animals around the house and in Marloth park. Shaylin was a wonderful host and the safari with Jonathan was such a great day. Also the cleaning was very good and the cleaning lady so attentive. Our family made some good memories during our stay in Marloth!

Doornkom provided much more than your normal accommodation in Marloth Park, even a generator for loadshedding. The braai area on the upper floor was exceptional.
