Featuring barbecue facilities and free WiFi, HomeBase Kruger is set in Marloth Park, close to the Lionspruit Game Reserve. Among the various facilities of this property are a garden and viewing deck. I liked all of it. The bedroom, the privacy, the braai place. Ian and Licia were great hoasts.
Located in Marloth Park, Imbube Safari Lodge is located in a game reserve along the Crocodile River, on the border of Kruger National Park. The lodge features an outdoor pool and an on-site bar. The quietly of the place. The excellent and amiable of the service. The zebras and the javalis around the place.

Set in Marloth Park, 2625 feet from stores and restaurants, Luvivane Luxury Villa & Cottage features accommodations with an outdoor pool, free WiFi, and a garden. The location in the backside of the Marloth parc is fantastic. Cottage has a small pool. Lots of animals visited us such as Kudus, Warthogs, Monkeys, even an ostrich and many local birds. While walking around we met giraffes and impalas. All this is not possible in Kruger because you’re in the car and within a lodge therein, fences keep the animals outside. It was a fantastic experience. The cottage is very nicely designed, as if it would have been made for the owner and not for renting. Candance, who managed it was very helpful, gave us lots of hints and arranged a fantastic safari. We arrived late in the evening when everything was closed and she helped us out by driving around and contacting lots of restaurants until we got some pizza which saved our day. A hair dryer was missing? That evening we had one of her own. The pump of the pool was stuck (we were off-season, at the end of winter time)? Next day a technician was there to fix it. Personnel was very friendly, house was very clean and in good condition and arranged with lots of good taste.
A very rustic and pleasant area. The road network is, however, shocking to say the least. Certain roads are impassable! facilities and friendliness of the locals is good. We enjoyed the mini Kruger game reserve. (Lionspruit game reserve).
Marloth park is very unique being a wildlife conservation area with residence on site. You walk around and literally go past buck, zebra, ostrich, warthog etc - incredible to be in nature. What I think is important for new travellers to Marloth to know is that they cannot take a low car as they will have difficulty on some of the dirt roads. The nature reserve inside Marloth itself is not really worth it in our opinion. We saw buck and a giraffe. It is better to pre-book a day trip to the Kruger park which is critical in peak periods or you won't get in!
Ì love this little paradise bringing you so close to nature. This is the only place where my sole is free and where I can leave the city stress behind and just be... The residents of the park are friendly and the shop owners helpful. My children loved the waterpark and slides. The park is so close to the Kruger and if you walk alongside the the fence border to the Kruger you might be lucky enough to have wonderful sightings. We saw Buffalos, Elephants, Crocodiles and Waterbuck, to name but a few. Marloth itself is having many wild animals that come and eat literally at your door step, an amazing experience for children and adults alike. I will highly recommend the park for anyone who needs to get closer to nature and needs to rest.
Relaxing bush experience with good facilities will always come back to this wildlife paradise and friendly people The restaurant overlooking the crocodile river is very welcoming with spectacular river views. I can also recommend the Tin shack bistro for excellent meals with a tranquil atmosphere ...class of touch!
The roads quite damaged at this stage because of the rain Very easy to get around Marloth Park. Roads well marked River ride obviously magic Avoid the N4. It is a nightmare. Go via Balfour. Hendrina. N17
We always enjoy Marloth Park as we love the Bushveld. One can stay put and enjoy the walks in the Park as well as the game which is abundant in the park. We also love the Kruger National Park and it is possible to enter the Park every day should one wish to do so. We feel the value for money in Marloth Park is better and one can have a more luxurious stay than elsewhere at a fraction of the cost.
The beds were super comfy. And the airconditioning in each bedroom was an unexpected bonus for us. The host Joseph was exceptional, always going the extra mile to meet our requests. The house is kept super clean at all times. Booking the game drive was easier than i thought...Johan jus comes to the house and everything is done. Sizwe our guide on our Game drive to the Kruger National Park was exceptional...we were even lucky enough to see all the Big Five thanks to him!! Nothing but fun and laughter the whole time and so informative. It was more than jus a holiday...it was also a learning expirience. The professionalism and friendliness from the staff is so refreshing. This is a place i definately would love to come back to again. Its so tranquil, my family and i jus absolutely loved it. What a beautiful place really😱
Everything was perfect. The house is absolutely stunning. We had kudu/deer/zebras in our garden almost constantly. The location and proximity to Kruger Crocodile Bridge Gate is perfect. Paul, the care-taker, was wonderful and extremely helpful as well. He also cleaned the fireplace for us every night after a braai, and helped us with putting out bananas in the perfect place for the bush-babies. Will be back!
Everything from the hospitality to the surroundings. It was the perfect place to usher in the new year. It gets very hot some days in that area but when it cools down its the most spectacular place to get away. We had an amazing time there. N the staff kept in contact before arrival gave us all information on routes to take and we got an upgrade that was absolutely lovely made our stay even more enjoyable.
The overall feel of the lodge is so homey and wonderful. Its definitely a home away from home. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They were VERY knowledgeable about the area and the park, they even gave us some pointers where to stop when driving back home. Breakfast and dinner was homemade with love and tasted delicious! It's always a treat to have local cuisine. I will definitely be back!
Beautiful place that looks into the wild, surrounded by trees. Watching the kids enjoying their time in the swimming pool as we relaxed around a great braai. The beds and bedding is amazing to sleep on and it feels like we were in a five star hotel. We saw Kudus, Warthog's and Zebra's today and all around this place where we stayed at.
