An absolutely beautiful property. The loudest sound was the frogs. Loved all the facilities and the location was perfect. Very clean and welcoming with lots of little extras like rusks, fresh milk and lemonade. The breakfast was outstanding. Perfectly prepared and so tasty

We liked the peace and tranquility of Montagu.

We liked the peace and tranquility of Montagu. We would have loved for more places to be open for visiting. Most places closed after 1pm on Saturday. It would have been lovely if some shops and places of attraction would be open on a Saturday and Sunday for city sleeker's like us.

We actually didn’t stay there. Our remote control for the gates didn’t work so we got locked out as no one answered the phone. It was only 9 30 at night so not late. We were very lucky to be able to get a room at the local hotel in Montagu. So slept in our clothes. We did get a refund but all very disappointing as it was meant to be a special birthday celebration. Not something I would want to happen to anyone else

Farmlike setting in town. Alpaca's feeding out of our hands. Gardens are amazing. Like a family holiday home, so very well set up. Resident staff are fantastic with fresh cut roses in vases all over the house & bedrooms.
