An ideal spot for a weekend getaway. The tent is fairly spacious, immaculate, and well-equipped, with our unit having offered breathtaking views of the surrounding garden/forest. The wood-fired hot tub is a delightful touch, adding an extra element of fun to our stay. The Cheerio gardens, with the charming, meandering pathways through the property are absolutely stunning, teeming with lush plant life, bird species and butterflies! Some basic essentials and tasty local snacks can be found at the Cheerio café / shop. Jordan was an excellent host, sharing the fascinating history of the property and town, and provided excellent recommend ations for local activities and restaurants.

Location was perfect from the village. The fireplace was the perfect addition to spending winter in Haenertsburg and added all the charm. The bathroom reminded me of being in Franschoek and the natural view of the mountains made it feel like a country escape!

We stayed at Blue Shutter House in Haenertsburg and absolutely loved it. The rooms are so nicely decorated, warm and cosy, and everything has been thought through so well. There’s a lovely room where you can all sit together with friends, such a comfortable and inviting space. The outdoor area is special, especially in warmer weather. The boma and BBQ area are perfectly set up and it has everything you need. The whole place feels very cared for, comfortable and fully equipped without feeling overdone. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel at home. We’ll definitely be back.

Relatively close to the destination of which I had to travel to. Relaxed atmosphere allowed me to recharge and reboot. The place provides an excellent opportunity for a great time with friends and loved ones.
