The area was beautiful with views of Giant’s Castle. Each room had a lovely little seating area outside and inside there was a cozy seating area with a fire place. The rooms were very comfortable as well. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Very well taken care of and delicious dinners. Including amazing attention to detail in regards to our specific dietary requirements.

This family-run boutique hotel is a hidden gem, tucked away in tranquil Kamberg valley, with free-grazing horses and zebras and a small water stream - makes for immediate relaxation! Breathtaking hiking trails can be found in proximity. Breakfast buffet and menu are delicious and the five-course dinner menu with wine pairing were without a doubt the best cuisine we’ve had in the Drakensberg region! Last but not least: Qambathi’s team is lovely and professional, yet just informal enough to make you feel right at home. We were impressed by front of the house, assistant manager and all rounder Mendoza, who was of great support - assisting us with hiking tipps and hosting a private wine tasting for us. Will certainly be back!

The location is beautiful and all the hosts were very welcoming. We were given the cottage overlooking the dam and mountain, absolutely stunning. The view is worth the price and we loved staying there. The cottages were large and light and had everything you needed. The kids loved the playset and getting rowed across the damn. We were also incredibly lucky to see the Serval running around the dam early one morning.

The house is so big but comfortable. Everyone was very impressed. Could have done with a few more days as the place was so relaxing. Also the fishing is good.

Winnie was so welcoming and the staff so friendly and super efficiant. The 4 bed house was well equiped for a large family. The establishment is set on a stud farm - so quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. set about 22 kms from Nottingham Road.
