We loved everythjng about Lush! The room and common areas were just perfect, the food and drinks were delicious, and the staff was extremely friendly and lovely. The game drives were super fun, with stunning views and we could see 4 of the big 5, thanks to our amazing guide Andrew!! You can feel the exclusive treatment in every way… we were there for 4 nights for our honeymoon, and for each night they prepared dinner in a diferent spot of the hotel! Karel, our host was awesome. This place would not be the same without him as he played many roles during our stay. From welcoming us as we got there, to showing us to our room, to cooking the meat in the boma, to being our guide on the game drives and in general just being an amazing fountain of knowledge was what made our stay memorable. We had some EPIC game drives, seeing Elephant, Rhino, Lions, Cheetahs, a Caracal and many more. Witnessing a Wildebeest calf taking its first steps after being born just minutes ago to small things like hearing birds going crazy and seeing the snake they were chasing off. Karel takes ownership of every aspect of your stay and excels at it. The food was great and the bed comfortable, so nothing to complain about. I loved the outside shower. The other staff were friendly and attentive.

Tambuti Lodge is set in the northwestern side of Pilanesberg National Park. It offers spacious and luxurious accommodations surrounded by the trees of the old Tambuti forest.

The property is in quiet harmony with the natural environment. The rooms overlook the untouched landscape as far as the eye can see. Wild animals are easily spotted from the private deck. We experienced two game drives per day which allowed us to see the Big Five in just a few days. Led by safari guide Jafari, we were able to get great looks at most of the Pilanesberg wild animals in total safety. On my final day there I made a special request for a Birding Walk around the immediate area and was led by highly experienced guide named Andre through the bush. As we walked for over three hours and 1.63 mi, we observed 47 different bird species including: Spotted Eagle-Owl, Brown Snake-Eagle, Black-winged Kite, Gabar Goshawk, and a Brown-Hooded Kingfisher. The food was prepared by a gourmet chef and was delicious. We all ate at a family style table together for meal time and great conversations.

Located alongside Pilanesberg National Park, The Kingdom Resort offers air-conditioned accommodations on either a room only or self-catering basis. Sun City Resort is 3.1 mi away.
