This is a value for money accommodation and wifi in my room was strong. The room was comfortable and sleek looking with everything you'd need for the stay. Breakfast was available and we enjoyed the meal we ordered.

Amazing stay! We have been traveling throughout South Africa for several weeks and enjoyed many great accommodations. The Orpen Kruger was definitely exceptional! Why: - outstanding service with attention to detail (example: served breakfast at 6 am prepared by an entire team as we had to leave early) - Great game drives in Manyeleti (Our guide Louis had several decades of experience driving people around the reserve) - Family like atmosphere - main host Veronica is super warmhearted and looks after each guest individually with compassion. So does the entire team Enjoyed every second! Remarkable experience!🙏

The experience at Thabamati exceeded all of our expectations. We kicked off our honeymoon in SA with a 4 night safari and we must say the bar was set very high! The food was excellent, the accommodations were spotless and the staff were so attentive and welcoming. The lodge is bang in the middle of it all with resident hippos just meters away from your tent. Mich and Charlie pour their heart and soul into curating a slice of paradise in the wild for their guests and the results speak for themselves. The safari itself was nothing short of breathtaking. We saw the big 5 and more up close with detailed explanation and interesting tid bits of information constantly flowing. The guide and Oscar the tracker are super informative, knowledgeable and professional. We would definitely recommend it for a personal and high end safari experience!

It remote and open to the animals so you never know what will wonder through. Tents are great and we enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Food was fantastic and really tasty. Most important on a safari are the trips and guide Ronnie was brilliant and made sure he explained and found everything we could see. Really glad to get here in the end as we had to cancel for Covid but worth the wait and thank you to all at the camp. You’re a fab crew.
