A beautiful, authentic bush camp in a glorious setting surrounded by bushland and wildlife. Barry, Wendy and their 2 young children were wonderful hosts. We had a delicious BBQ in the evening served under the stars around a camp fire. The beds and ensuite bathrooms were fine. After an extensive full English breakfast we said our good byes in washed car, what a service! Thank you Barry and Wendy for an unforgettable stay!

The hotel is beautifully decorated, the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful with everything. We travelled with young kids and the chef always had some special kid friendly food freshly made in case they didn’t like the menu. The rooms are spacious and the surrounding by nature is beautiful. The location is perfect, it’s directly next to the gate of the Manyeleti game reserve and to the Orpen gate. So no need to travel far for the safari. The safari organized by the hotel was amazing too. They are well prepared with blankets, coffee breaks or afternoon drinks. And once you come back you are always warm welcomed with a wet towel and a big smile by the staff! We were extremely happy with our choice and would recommend to everyone to visit the Orpen Kruger!

Our stay was absolutely incredible, from the beautiful lodge itself to the exceptional staff, delicious food and drinks, and unforgettable twice-daily game drives! The food itself was some of the best food we have ever tasted, huge shout out to the Chef for going the extra mile for us! Suitboy our game driver is an absolute legend! He is extremely knowledgeable and takes into account his guests to ensure we have the best experience possible! He is extremely kind and caring and we felt very safe with him! Not only did we see the Big Five on our game drives, but we were also treated to daily sightings right from the terrace during breakfast, lunch, and dinner - elephants, impala, buffalo, hyenas, and more regularly visited the watering hole in front of the lodge. It was like having a front-row seat to the wild at all times! All the staff were amazing, but a special shoutout to Morgan and Given for their outstanding service, they truly stood out! We honestly can’t recommend this experience highly enough. We left with full bellies and even fuller hearts!

The camp is stunning, stylish & comfortable. Rooms are gorgeous! All the staff are so friendly & helpful. The food & hospitality is incredible too. The view over the huge watering hole gives amazing animal spotting: hippos and elephants galore! The game drives were THE BEST. We saw a leopard close-up every day, a pride of lions playing. Incredible! This is a luxury safari without the luxury price.

Great place. Had some difficulty finding it as the houses are a bit hidden, but afterwards the experience was great. Great accommodation, nice food, and good game drives! Ronny did everything to find the best game for us :)
