Delightful place to stay, and a perfect point to spend the night en route from Oliver Tambo airport to Kruger national park. It's in a delightful spot, and the rooms are spacious and lovely. Excellent breakfast. We found great, quirky place to have dinner in nearby Sabie, so the whole experience was excellent. Good value. The following day we drove up the Panorama route with amazing falls to Kruger.

Karla is friendly, helpful and flexible. She went out of her way to meet our requests as well as supplying extra information on the area and even making suggestions of places to be visited. Everything was amazing except booking through Bookings.com. I placed a booking 5 months ago for 6 adults and Bookings.com only placed an order for 4 adults. This money was also paid 5 months ago. This also happened to 2 other families that booked through Bookings.com. I think it's only fair that Bookings.com pay the difference as this is their mistake. I will never use Bookings.com again.

We used to travel to Sabie a lot a couple of years back.

We used to travel to Sabie a lot a couple of years back. The town used to be amazing. Now, the streets (especially when visiting the falls) are so riddled with potholes that you can barely drive a normal car there! The cars prefer to drive on the dirt shoulder to avoid the potholes in the tar. The photos I am posting is of the road right in front of the Department of Roads and transport. The town is so neglected. Most of the falls are fenced off to keep the swimmers out. Lone Creek falls have become the regular picnic spot and taxi loads full of people are dropped off there with swimming towels and cooler boxes. You cannot enjoy the beaty of nature there anymore.

It was great to see all the sights around the area such as Bourkes Potholes, Mac Mac Falls, Graskop & Gods Window which we hadn’t seen for over 30 years. However I wouldn’t stay in Sabie again & would have preferred a farm or country house to stay at.

Sabie is a wonderful little town, there are so many...

Sabie is a wonderful little town, there are so many beautiful waterfalls in the area and very close to the most beautiful view on earth like God's window and the Blyde River Canyon. It is also very close to Kruger so you get the best of both worlds.

About an hour away from most attractions. Beautiful views. Very relaxed. Clean town. Best part is the fresh air. Nature at its best. Lots to see. The wild fig tree is an amazing place to eat. Petena pancakes was a delight and something different.

Beautiful place to immerse in natural surroundings &...

Beautiful place to immerse in natural surroundings & especially the several waterfalls to feast. Halaal Wimpy is less than 5min away. Spar/Shoprite and so many other small convenient stores close by. Many scenic highlights along the Panaromic route to explore eg. Blyde River Canyon, God's Window, three Rondavels etc

Clean rooms, with adequate kitchen utensils. Comfortable beds. The location is closed to shops (although Sabie itself doesn't have a lot of shops to offer). Accomodation is just as it appears on picture. The beds are so comfortable 😍 We were booked into their sister accomodation (Floreat Riverside). Perfection.
