The accommodation is a traditional village clay and thatch guest house. The beds are very comfortable with mosquito nets and it was nice to have an ensuite shower room. The village is very friendly and safe and has a small but well stocked shop. A Village tour including volunteering in the village school, Nshima cooking lesson and a Zambezi sunset canoe rides can be booked directly with Alex (I highly recommend these). It’s nice to know the money raised is going to support the village school. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return. Thank you to Alex, his family and friends for making us feel so welcome.

If you only spoil yourself once this is the place to do it, location on the banks of the Zambezi, great friendly staff, the evening river cruise was really special watching the romantic sunset on the river to the sound of snorting hippos is an experience you won't forget. The staff are great and it's obvious making your stay enjoyable is there main goal. Did I mention the chalet, it really has to be experienced to be believed - fantastic!!

All was new and clean. The house had a big battery in case of power outbreak’s. We had both airtel and mtn SIM cards because we work online while we travel and the signal was good so the signal towers were close. The owner fixed the road in the second day and it has a good sign from the asphalt road. I will return with pleasure for sure.

Amazing location on the river, very peaceful and interesting - we enjoyed spotting hippos and crocodiles directly from our terrace. The Venue is great the location great, but it’s the staff that make the stay even better, particularly My family now Allan & Phillip who welcomed me from the moment I arrived until I left, it felt like saying goodbye to family, I highly recommend anyone visiting Livingstone, Africa to stay here and You will be looked after every step of the way, I felt like I was treated as a king.

The girls that work there are so nice. Blessia and Josephine they really went above and beyond to make sure our stay there was comfortable. My sister and I really enjoyed our 3 day stay. It was amazing. I recommend. Everyone was so nice. And when we had no taxi to the airport the next morning, the watchman literally ran to the taxi stop to find us a taxi. Very very kind people.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Kamunjila Lodge. We used to swimming pool, had delicious breakfast and its not far from the center. I think it's a bit to expensive, but we had a good time and we would stay there again. The garden was absolutely beautiful, they had Mango trees and the room was also really spacious!

Everything! The properly is an absolute dream, seeing animals around the property was absolutely magical, the staff was amazing, so helpful, attentive, friendly, caring, … I can’t say enough about it. The room was so spacious and nice, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom has a very nice size. Common areas are so nice and the food was on point every single meal. I can’t wait to be back, it was the best time and this place made it absolutely wonderful.
