A real adventure! The Lodge is situated far away from the city, right at the shore of the Sambesi River. Extremely quiet and peaceful at night with a million stars above. But be careful: The hippos come out of the river at night and you better stay inside of your chalet. We were instructed that this would happen and at night they accompanied us from dinner to our chalets. Super friendly staff organized a tour to the Victoria falls and through the city of Livingstone.

All was new and clean. The house had a big battery in case of power outbreak’s. We had both airtel and mtn SIM cards because we work online while we travel and the signal was good so the signal towers were close. The owner fixed the road in the second day and it has a good sign from the asphalt road. I will return with pleasure for sure.

Hi . I chose this hotel because is located in the heart of Livingstone . We did not know much about it . We travel with our 3 years old daughter . So when they saw us on Reception they upgrade our room to a superior one ( of course is low season and they had availability ) . During our holiday all the staff , treat us with great respect and courtesy . All our demands were furfilled . Even when our flight was delayed we recived a discount for an extra night at the hotel . At the end I will say that Hotel bussines is about people not walls . And Fairmont Hotel exceeded our espectations .

Room 1 was so beautiful (local touch, comfortable bed and good shower) It was the 40th birthday of my girlfriend. She was celebrated by the Lodge to the best with gifts and chocolate cake. The owner and the staff are really welcoming and supportive. They know all the activities in Zambia and beyond. They organize trips with professionalism with Off Road Safaris. Everything! The properly is an absolute dream, seeing animals around the property was absolutely magical, the staff was amazing, so helpful, attentive, friendly, caring, … I can’t say enough about it. The room was so spacious and nice, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom has a very nice size. Common areas are so nice and the food was on point every single meal. I can’t wait to be back, it was the best time and this place made it absolutely wonderful.
