The garden is amazing, so many birds, the jungle sounds with the howler monkeys. It's the only time we saw toecans in Belize (not even during our jungle hikes). The owner was friendly. Howler monkeys and plenty of birds made every morning memorable. I have never seen such detail and thought go into the decor and feel of each room. We felt at home here and will be back.

Good spot to explore Cahal Pech and Xunantunich, as well as San Antonio to the south with its butterfly ranch, women's collective for crafted gifts to take home, and Ox Mul coffee. Cristo Rey a quiet town with a good restaurant, Carms. Highly recommend!

The villas are very confortable and well decorated. The surroundings are amazing, between the jungle and the river. We got to see monkeys, parrots, squirrels, agoutis, all on site. It’s been mentioned by most guests , but we will say again, the food is amazing ! We had breakfasts and dinners at Villa Massis and it was delicious. Ingredients are fresh and full of flavors. A big thank you to the staff for their professionalism and kindness. Finally, we highly recommend a trip to Barton Creek and Rio on pools with Marc.

The area felt so secluded but also very clean and safe. We also had trails to a waterfall and cave towards the back of the property which was great for exploring when we didn’t feel like driving. The room was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were really impressed by how well the screens kept the bugs out and we loved laying in the hammock in the screened in porch. It was a bit cold to swim in the pool but we liked heading there in the evenings to relax and enjoy the evening. It was also wonderful to use the grill by the pool and super easy.
