We arrived at Dominick’s farm straight from Guatemala (Flores). We took a taxi at the border (12€) and it was a quick drive. The place is absolutely stunning (make sure to arrive before 6 pm to enjoy the landscape). Our little house was perfect - it had a great shower (including warm water which isn’t always the case in Belize or Guatemala even at most reputable places due to the water shortage) and comfy beds. We were able to organize a bird watching tour with Dominik’s brother the next day at the property (great pricing and great combo of forest and aquatic birds). All in all we loved there: sizable breakfast, beautiful landscape, amazing nature. Dominik dropped us free of charge at the station next day, and shared lots of tips for the trip moving forward. Highly highly recommended!!!

Situated in Belmopan in the Cayo region, Capital Escape - Charming bungalow with WiFi & AC features a patio. This place was very nice and well taken care of. I like how you can park inside the property to keep your vehicle safe and it was easy to enter the actual house with the instructions they provided. The house itself was kept very neat and clean, and it wasn’t cluttered. They provided more than enough towels and my bed was pretty comfortable. I contacted the owner several times and they always replied to me promptly.

This property and caretaker David just were above and beyond what we could have hoped for! What a beautiful house with all the amenities just minutes from town. Howler monkeys and plenty of birds made every morning memorable. I have never seen such detail and thought go into the decor and feel of each room. We felt at home here and will be back.

The location was great, very easy to get to local restaurants and shops, and also very handy for the Mayan attractions nearby. The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Situated 7.6 km from Cahal Pech, RiverHill Hideaway offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a private beach area and a garden. Beautiful, comfortable with helpful staff who met us when we arrived. Albert was full of ideas from where to look for toucan to how to get to the nearby waterfall. Good spot to explore Cahal Pech and Xunantunich, as well as San Antonio to the south with its butterfly ranch, women's collective for crafted gifts to take home, and Ox Mul coffee. Cristo Rey a quiet town with a good restaurant, Carms. Highly recommend!

Offering a garden and lake view, Alma Del Rio Eco-Comfort on the water is situated in San Ignacio, 6.1 km from Cahal Pech and 21 km from El Pilar. Everything was beautiful! We especially loved the living room area with the view on the tropical garden, great spot for bird watching. Hadas was lovely and helped us have an amazing stay, with great day trips and excursions. We loved the Tikal day trip as well as our bird watching experiences with Andy, great guide that we recommend. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable 😊

Located in San Ignacio and only 5.8 km from Cahal Pech, Villa Massis Luxury Villas provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We truly enjoyed our stay in Villa Massis. The villas are very confortable and well decorated. The surroundings are amazing, between the jungle and the river. We got to see monkeys, parrots, squirrels, agoutis, all on site. It’s been mentioned by most guests , but we will say again, the food is amazing ! We had breakfasts and dinners at Villa Massis and it was delicious. Ingredients are fresh and full of flavors. A big thank you to the staff for their professionalism and kindness. Finally, we highly recommend a trip to Barton Creek and Rio on pools with Marc.

Situated just 20 km from Barton Creek Cave, Kane Villas - Mountain Pine Ridge provides accommodation in San Ignacio with access to pool with a view, a garden, as well as full-day security. It was so nice to have our own little villa in the rainforest. The area felt so secluded but also very clean and safe. We also had trails to a waterfall and cave towards the back of the property which was great for exploring when we didn’t feel like driving. The room was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were really impressed by how well the screens kept the bugs out and we loved laying in the hammock in the screened in porch. It was a bit cold to swim in the pool but we liked heading there in the evenings to relax and enjoy the evening. It was also wonderful to use the grill by the pool and super easy.

They bent over backwards to accommodate anything we needed. Breakfast and dinner were generous and delicious. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. A/C worked great.
