He provided us with great recommendations for food, tour companies and transport. We woke up to roosters, toucans, parrots, and many other birds calling each morning and were served delightful coffee and breakfast daily. We also had the option of delicious suppers on site for a small extra fee. The beds were very comfortable and rooms clean / well appointed. The cottage is located close to the Xunantunich archeological reserve such that we could walk there and back with our adventurous kids. That saved us on having to hire a tour company for the day. This is an incredibly place with a very gracious and communicative host. Plus, my kids loved the dogs and cats on the farm.

This property and caretaker David just were above and beyond what we could have hoped for! What a beautiful house with all the amenities just minutes from town. Howler monkeys and plenty of birds made every morning memorable. I have never seen such detail and thought go into the decor and feel of each room. We felt at home here and will be back.

Beautiful, comfortable with helpful staff who met us when we arrived. Albert was full of ideas from where to look for toucan to how to get to the nearby waterfall. Good spot to explore Cahal Pech and Xunantunich, as well as San Antonio to the south with its butterfly ranch, women's collective for crafted gifts to take home, and Ox Mul coffee. Cristo Rey a quiet town with a good restaurant, Carms. Highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Villa Massis. The villas are very confortable and well decorated. The surroundings are amazing, between the jungle and the river. We got to see monkeys, parrots, squirrels, agoutis, all on site. It’s been mentioned by most guests , but we will say again, the food is amazing ! We had breakfasts and dinners at Villa Massis and it was delicious. Ingredients are fresh and full of flavors. A big thank you to the staff for their professionalism and kindness. Finally, we highly recommend a trip to Barton Creek and Rio on pools with Marc.
