This has to be the best place to stay in the entire city. For one thing, its one of the few original wooden hotels to survive the fires. Most other places are modern constructions, but here you're staying in the real deal. The hotel is also located just on the edge of the old town, which is a real scrum. Its great to be close to the action but able to remove yourself from it. And then there's the hosts, who are *amazing*. So kind, generous, helpful. Excellent English. They plied me with snacks, helped me do laundry, and gave me lots of ideas and advice. The hot water was very hot, the internet was fast, the bed was comfortable. If you're looking for an friendly place to stay that isn't a gigantic chain-style hotel, this is the spot for you.

Dali Dream House with Seaview ligger i Dali, 1,9 km fra Wuhua Building. Her er adgang til et boblebad. It’s an amazing apartment, clean and well-equipped with great view in a quiet but convenient location. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great during our stay but the cozy tea room made it so much better!

It's clean, spacious and has a nice heritage interior. The owner, Sam and the staff were absolutely lovely. They are so warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. They went out of their way to accommodate all our requests, which made us feel really well taken care of. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast—the rice noodle soup was delicious and comforting, a perfect start to the cool day. Too bad our room doesn't face the sea due to the 3-pax room, but hopefully we will visit the next round and take the seaview room. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay with great service and a personal touch!
