Situated less than 1 km from Ruka Ski Centre, these cottages are just 100 metres from Lake Talvijärvi. Each provides a fully-equipped kitchen, a private sauna and a wood-burning fireplace. The cottage was very spacious, enough to accommodate 6 people. The kitchen had all the needed utilities. The fireplace in the living-room is very easy to use and creates an amazing atmosphere. The sauna is also very easy to use. Location is really nice, on the bank of the lake and easily accessible. The village is 10-15' walk away in winter, as you can walk across the frozen lake, and the surroundings are really nice for longer walks. A very charming little house nearby the Ruka ski resort. Surprisingly it was very warm in the house and very cosy. We really liked the dishes with the raindeers and there were plenty to do in the house as well. Very lovely!

A wonderful, cosy place in a truly picturesque area. It looks magical in winter and would be just as amazing in summer. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Exactly what a group of 4 friends needed. We used the sauna and the fireplace. The host provided easy to use instructions for all the appliances.
