All the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the whole history of the site, we like the fact that in the evening we had the whole place to ourselves, Some mornings and every evening we went for a walk about and found new places that we had not seen before, A beautiful well manicured gardens, a credit to the owner,The English breakfast was really good, we will stay there again in the future. This cute little barn really felt like a home away from home. Zoe and Jamie had thought of everything, and there was a detailed guide to help navigate the various amenities and appliances. You get your own little kitchen and sitting area complete with an electric fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, oven, hob, fridge, microwave,coffee machine, utensils and even tea, coffee and sugar. There is a tiny backyard to sit and contemplate about the mysteries of life (weather permitting). We stayed for three nights and by the end it had started feeling more like a home than a hotel.

The host was really helpful and made the accommodation so welcoming for us. Bed was extremely comfortable and the chalet was modern and cosy. Great to have a kitchen. The bathroom was lovely with a big shower and plenty of hot water. Although we didn't have the weather to be able to use it, there was a little outdoor seating area which would be great in summer. We will look forward to staying again.

Beautiful location. Plenty of hot water when showering. Loved having the Shetland ponies as neighbours. Lovely warm accommodation and made full use of the fire pit under the stars in the evenings.
