Good selections of items for breakfast with homemade bread and cake.

Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

Even though the place is a bit hidden, the directions provided and signs made it very easy to find the pod. We arrived quite late but it was no problem since we could let ourselves into the pod. It was incredibly clean and well-equipped. It is such a cozy, quiet and charming place to stay, highly recommend it!

Accomodation was perfectly located for the retreat me and my sisters had. It was private. It had all the facilities needed. We had a lovely walk by the country road and also discovered a river. We did not meet staff but was we had prompt responses to messages. We loved it so much we would have to visit again.

Stayed with a group of 10 friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The cottages were gorgeous and there was so much space for a group. It was very warm and cosy and the heat was on when we arrived. Beautiful decorated and it was located in a lovely quiet area a short drive (6-7 mins) from Charlestown where we were able to pick up a takeaway. The owners had left tea waters milk etc and the bathrooms were full with shampoos soap etc. The check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and easy to contact.

Clifden and the surrounding area are beautiful with lots to do nearby. It was a lovely stay!
