Free parking was a big plus — there were plenty of parking spaces available, and it was completely free. Breakfast was complimentary and offered a wide variety of choices, all very enjoyable. As a lovely surprise, when we checked out, the hotel even gave us some homemade pasta, which was a really thoughtful and memorable touch. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Matera

The hosts are lovely, being able to stay in such an historic location is a privilege. Very comfortable and clean room. An amazing breakfast with a wonderful selection of home made breads, pastries and more. We have already recommended this to friends and we hope to be back someday!

Given that it wasn't our first time in Umatera, and that we have experience with other locations, I can say that this one is ideal. Veneto Square is a 5-minute walk away. The location is quiet and safe.
