Biagio is the hardest working man we've met in the 30 days spent traveling from Northern to Southern Itsly. He made sure our breakfast was there every single morning. He was always available to answer questions about where to eat and other questions about Scalea. We talked every day just about casual things. He was there so much we thought he lived on property. I can't tell you how much of a difference he made. I now consider him a true friend and will stay at the same place for our next trip. We are looking at homes in the area there, so there will be future trips. The facility design is very nice. I would consider it to be industrial. The rooms are spartan but exceptionally clean. The Wifi was very good and consistent. The patio just outside of the rooms were very nice. On a couple of nights I just sat outside to enjoy the night sky. I really liked the secure parking as the whole facility is fenced in. Our overall experience was truly outstanding, much of it owed to my new friend, Biagio.

Wonderful apartment in old fishing village of Chianalea, section of Scilla. Balcony sea view. Well stocked kitchen, milk, juice, yogurt, coffee, cereal, breads provided. Even a big coffee cake awaited us. Narrow cobbled paths, so picturesque!

Agriturismo La Valle Incantata Gerace - asub Gerace'is Calabria piirkonnas, 9,3 km kaugusel Locri Epizephyrii arheoloogiamuuseumist. We chose an agriturismo because we like to meet locals, and have an authentic experience. And we were very happy to say that we did! Domenico was so hospitable, we spent many hours with him talking (via Google translate) about his farm, and life in general. We ate breakfast and dinner, which was cooked by Domenico. It featured products from his farm and also local cheeses and vegetables. We had some specific dietary requests, and he went out of his way to look after us. The farm is a real working farm, and the liquors that Domenico produces are so delicious! As are the salami and other products. We were a short drive from the beautiful town of Gerace, and not far from Roccella and other lovely places.
