We booked this property with 1 hours notice because our original accommodation cancelled our booking last minute. Hong was an incredibly gracious host, accommodating a series of panicked phone calls from us as we tried to avoid sleeping at the station for the evening. He was so incredibly helpful and patient! About the property: The property is centrally located, just behind La Spezia Centrale station (literally a 2 minute walk, with only a slight incline for 10 metres). This location means it’s close enough to the centre of the town for easy access to the port (which includes the ferry to the iconic Cinque Terre), the market and plenty of restaurants, but tucked away in a quiet area so it doesn’t feel like you’re fighting the crowds. The house is extremely spacious, with very comfortable beds in 3 bedrooms. The bathrooms are very clean and spacious as well. The property has a quaint courtyard, perfect for a quiet morning coffee while enjoying the view of the houses up the hill. The house is perfect for groups, and I’d imagine especially so for those travelling with young children as it’s nicely enclosed. The location makes it easy for day trips to Cinque Terre and surrounding areas, without needing to skimp on comfort.

Delicious breakfast. Wonderful views of the valley, hills, and mountains. Fell in love with the beautiful cabannina cows. When going up, prepare for the rough uphill dirt road. Och möts av värden Flavio som är ödmjuk, glad och serviceminded, samt till italiensk egentillagad husmanskost, eget producerat vin, egna bönor, egentillverkad ravioli mm. Vill man ha ett äkta nerkylande mindre vattenfallsbad har man knappt ett tre minuters gångavstånd till ett naturbad, från boendet. Vill man bada i Frankrike har du ca 30 min till Menton & Medelhavet. Det finns möjlighet att kanske se vildsvin, vilket jag gjorde nedanför baksidan av huset där parkeringen är. Vill man njuta av naturen och maten är det rätt plats att vara på.
