Pleasant like staying at home. Especially when you travel with family. Additionally, they provide massage chair & onsen next to shower room which is fantastic after you went out walking around the city. The house is clean. Full set of amenities. Location is very nearby metro station only 5 min walk.

The house is in a great, quiet spot with easy walkable access to the buzzy Abeo area with karaoke spots, izakayas, and a shopping centre. Two metro lines and a tram stop are nearby. Clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Host allowed us to store luggage for a few hours after check out. Overall, a great experience.

Rinn Shiki Juraku ตั้งอยู่ในเกียวโต ห่างจากปราสาทนิโจ 1.1 กม. และห่างจากใจกลาง 1.7 กม. Lovely townhouse. Booked no. 10, Family of four . Two teenagers. Two storied traditional house. Ground floor has kitchenette, four seater table and a separate tatami room on ground floor . Shower, tub and a separate toilet on ground floor. Comfortable stairs to the top leads to two bedrooms, one room with futon and other with a double bed. There is a toilet on the first floor too. All areas of the houee are very spacious. The staff are lovely and helpful. The common room has drinks and small eats all through the day. A coin laundry is near common area. We used taxi to get to most areas. But the public transport options are doable. The property exceeded my expectations and photos are as actuals. Good noiseless sleep quality. There are Family mart and Fresco department store in walking distance.

This place is stunning and spacious - it includes a gorgeous living room downstairs as well as the kitchen and bathroom. There is another seating area upstairs and the bedroom. It is also in the traditional Japanese style, which we love! The highlights for us though were two parts: First, the host is incredible! You cannot drive up to the house because the last road is too steep so he showed us where to park near the base and then drove us up in his bigger car. (He kindly did this again in the morning when we left, even though we had to leave very early!) Second, the view is incredible! It was a stunning way to start the day. Our only regret is we wish we'd stayed longer :)

Our host, Rehan (a fellow South African living in Ikuno), went above and beyond for us. He offered to fetch us in Kobe walked us around the city, drove us all the way to Ikuno and even organised the most incredible meal for us at the local izakaya. His kindness set the tone for the whole stay. The accommodation itself was breathtaking - a beautifully renovated traditional company house that felt both historic and homely. Spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. One of my favourite moments was waking up to the sound of rain and looking out at the trees on the mountain. Pure magic. I would recommend this stay in a heartbeat. The accommodation is remarkable, the town is enchanting, and Rehan’s generosity, passion, and knowledge made the experience feel genuinely special. This was my favourite part of my entire trip in Japan and moments I will never forget. Thank you Rehan, cannot wait to visit again!
