I'm from Taiwan I stayed at Moku over Christmas and had an amazing experience. The house is full of traditional Japanese charm, with a warm and cozy atmosphere that made me feel relaxed as soon as I arrived. What really stood out to me were the thoughtful details throughout the space—especially the clothes-drying rack placed near the heater vent. It was such a smart and practical touch, and my clothes dried quickly even during the cold winter weather. The host was incredibly kind and responsive. When I couldn’t find the laundry detergent, she came over right away to help and let me know I could message her anytime if I needed anything. That level of care truly made a difference. I would absolutely recommend Moku to anyone visiting Kyoto, especially during the winter season. It is also highly recommended for travelers who are driving—if you plan to visit Amanohashidate or Ine no Funaya, this is a great place to stay as part of your trip. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and for making my time in Kyoto truly memorable.

Right in the heart of Kyoto, situated within a short distance of Kyoto Station and TKP Garden City Kyoto, Zenji 町家六堀 offers free WiFi, air conditioning and household amenities such as a microwave and... Property was beautiful and had great facilities for what we needed. It was impeccably clean.

Set within less than 1 km of Sanjusangen-do Temple and a 14-minute walk of Gion Shijo Station, 谷町君 星屋 東山望月居 features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kyoto. So spacious. Loved the massage chair and outdoor hot tub. Just had everything g we needed and the washing machine was awesome.

Very helpful stuff that agreed to store our suitcases after check out and helped us with getting taxi to the train station (even helped lifting the heavy suitcase). Very modern room with both western and Japanese elements.

Located in Ine, 16 km from Manai Shrine and 16 km from Motoise Kono Shrine, 舟宿 壱 provides sea views and free WiFi. The air-conditioned accommodation is 17 km from Daijyouji Temple. Location is everything with this property, which is a beautifully renovated funaya right on the water in Ine fishing village. It's self catering accommodation and we hadn't made any reservations at the small number of local restaurants. However, we found a lovely place right across the road from our house. Our room overlooked the water and despite the wet weather the views were amazing. Our host also arranged a private boat tour of the bay for us, which picked us up from our own jetty! A magical stay. Highly recommend.

Quiet area, comfortable beds and very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. If there is a mirror in the toilet on the first floor, it will be perfect.

Situated in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Nijo Castle and 500 metres from the centre, 谷町君 星屋 神泉ノ宿 二条城 features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. This beautiful villa has two floors and got a separate area for dinning. Tons of space. Easy to use washer/dryer machine, don’t need to share with others. Very close to a supermarket and a Family Mart within minutes. Will be back! Highly recommend!

Külalistemaja Daikoku - Vacation STAY 97010v asub Kyotos Nakagyo Wardi linnaosas, 1,2 km kaugusel Samurai Kembu Kyotost, 1,4 km kaugusel Gion Shijo jaamast ja 1,5 km kaugusel Kyoto Shigaku Kaikani... This was an outstanding place to stay in Kyoto. The guesthouse was beautifully and comfortably set up, with attention to every little detail to make it comfortable and homely. The location was also excellent, a short walk to trains, nishiki market, restaurants and attractions. I would highly recommend staying here.

Kyoto Villa Fuka asub Kyoto südames, lühikese vahemaa kaugusel Kyoto jaamast ja TKP Garden City Kyotost. Clean, cozy stay with all amenities such as washing machine was a great idea. Felt like we were at home.
