This is the best apartment that I have stayed in my 2-week vacation in Kyushu. Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night (original was 2 nights) as our flight from Yakushima island was cancelled due to bad weather. Rather than flying, we took the Toppy jetfoil. Host was kind enough to adjust our stay from 2 nights to 1 night. This place has everything and better amenities/facilities than hotels. Very good experience.

Container was retrofitted with very modern facilities, with enough space for two to stay comfortably. Amenities were also provided, including cutlery, crockery, and equipment to make drip coffee. Best part of the stay was the outdoor area with bbq pit and sauna. The staff were very kind in helping us to start the fire ahead of time so that we could start barbecuing once we got back with the ingredients.

The location couldn’t be any better - just across from the surf beach, short stroll to the main touristy area in Aoshima. Loved watching local people (young and old) riding their bicycles to the beach to surf. We could hire a bike/surfboard from Nagisa store downstairs. The owners were so welcoming and very kind. The accommodation had everything we could ask for - very clean and spacious for Japanese standard. My son loved his stay there so much that he insists we stay at the blue dot next time we are in Japan! We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to go back!

Incredible stay near the ocean outside of Miyazaki. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna before bed and had some lovely pizza for dinner. Woke up early to enjoy the sunrise. Staff were great, very nice and helpful

Rakuten STAY HOUSE x WILL STYLE is a really nice apartment, or better to say a house, as it’s a whole house for exclusive use of guests (there are two such houses next to each other). It’s really large, not only as for Japanese standards. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms with double beds (both airconditioned), one of them with a wardrobe; a toilet and a bathroom (with a wash machine). On the 1st floor there’s a big living room (airconditioned) with a kitchen. There’s a big dining table and a small coffee table, as well as TV. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a cooker, a microwave oven, an electric kettle and a capsule coffee machine, but there’s no oven or dishwasher. All necessary pots, dishes, cutlery etc. are provided. There’s also another “Japanese” room with futon mattresses accessible through sliding doors. In this room there’s also a projector so when the doors are open then one can watch movies sitting by the dining table. The beach, Aoshima island and botanical garden, so the top spots of the city, are less than 10 min away walking. There are some restaurants and shops nearby. It’s easy to reach the house: it has two dedicated free parking places, the railway station is few minutes away and there are also some buses from various locations, including the airport (though not very frequent), passing nearby. Before arrival one needs to fill in the check in form and then upon arrival add additional information on the tablet installed by the entrance door and then to connect the staff through it (the staff speaks English, not common in Japan). When the process is completed, one gets the entry code to the entrance door. The check out is similar, though quicker.
