We had an amazing stay at this lovely spot near Mount Fuji! The building may be old, but it’s clean and well-maintained, giving the place a cozy, home-like feel. I especially loved the traditional style of the accommodation, it really added to the authentic experience. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Situated in Azagawa in the Yamanashi region, with Fuji-Q Highland and Mount Kachi Kachi Ropeway nearby, Habitacion Station MobileCottage features accommodation with free private parking. Staying at Habitación Station Mobile Cottage was such a unique and memorable experience. Waking up to a clear Mount Fuji (Fujisan) view right outside the cottage felt surreal a view that never gets old. Having the famous 7-Eleven just across the road, along with parking right in front of the cottage, made everything extremely convenient. What surprised us the most was how modern and well-equipped the cottage was. The facilities felt new and thoughtfully designed, complete with a projector and a huge interior space that could comfortably fit around 5–7 people. It didn’t feel cramped at all, even during the colder December weather. At first, I had my doubts when my husband chose this place, especially with winter approaching, but it turned out to be the best stay we had throughout our entire trip to Japan. Cozy, practical, and unforgettable waking up with Fujisan right in front of us made this stay truly special.

We booked this place for a one-night stay near Mount Fuji, and it was perfect! The location is peaceful, right on the edge of a quiet lake, and conveniently close to scenic viewpoints, restaurants, and even a 7-Eleven. Sleeping on traditional Japanese futons was a unique experience—they were warm and very comfortable. Waking up to the stunning view of Mount Fuji was absolutely unforgettable.

Hosts were responsive when we had questions, but for the most part all amenities were easy to understand. We did laundry with no issues. We were able to walk through the neighborhood to a small market for snacks and stumbled on a small, local shrine that was quiet and amazing. Hosts were also able to arrange for a taxi for us in the morning to get to the bus station when we couldn't preschedule using uber or gotaxi, otherwise easy to get transportation!
