Popotel 2 KURA is situated in Matsumoto, 29 km from Canora Hall, 1.1 km from Matsumoto Castle, as well as 32 km from Suwa-Lake. The property owner's communication was fantastic. They were very friendly and the way they had equipped the property was very helpful, with everything you need and instructions for use. A really nice location we would love to return to some time.

Situated 19 km from Sekibutsu Kanzan Jittoku Statue, 21 km from Otsumago and 27 km from Magome Observatory, Minshuku Suhara offers accommodation located in Okuwa. We loved our stay here- it is a restored traditional Japanese house in Suhara that’s still part of the ancient and historic Nakasendo way. We had the entire house to ourselves and we were able to cook. The host made every effort to make us feel welcome- he showed us around the house and oriented us to where we could go in the area, including the supermarket and restaurants nearby. He also showed us the bus schedules depending on where we planned to go.

We travelled by car so had no trouble getting there. Every possible detail was thought of, from the comfort of our stay to our entertainment. There was origami paper in our room, and motorised train for the kuds to ride outside, swings, a rock-climbing wall and hammock swing in our room. The kitchen was well appointed in our room, the room was a great size, and the staff were very accommodating. There was even a shop on the property that allows you to turn a coin from anywhere in the world into a ring and a pendant, and they teach you to make it yourself! An incredible experience! Loved everything about this place!

Le Bocage – Hakuba Echoland Chalets are situated in Echoland, a popular nightlife site where more than 30 bars and restaurants can be found. The property offers free in-room WiFi and on-site parking. Excellent location close to buses to travel to all ski resorts and central to lots of places to eat. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Only thing was they didn’t have a mirror in the bathroom but provided one same day when queried which was excellent.

Nestled in the beautiful nature in Hakuba, Big Bear Chalets & Apartments offers well-appointed accommodation fitted with kitchen facilities and an en suite bathroom. Excellent location for Happo One access. Apartment is a great size, super warm and cosy and has everything you need. Staff were super helpful, shuttling us around town whenever we needed. Rabbit Hole next door is great for a post ski drink and easy food.
