Situated 19 km from Sekibutsu Kanzan Jittoku Statue, 21 km from Otsumago and 27 km from Magome Observatory, Minshuku Suhara offers accommodation located in Okuwa. It's not every day you find yourself staying in a property that's featured on local tourism signs, but this is one. I loved it. If you want the experience of staying in a true Edo place... stay here. The bathroom and kitchen have been updated (the wooden bathroom smells amazing). There are modern toilets. But the rest is original Edo style. It's a great place to use as a base for a roadtrip around the Kiso River Valley. You just feel like you're in another time. I absolutely loved it, and would stay here again.

The kids squealed with delight as they walked into the room. The climbing wall and swing chair helped get some of that 5 year old energy out in the morning and before bed. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Facilities in the room made the stay super comfortable. And convenience items were available at the front desk.

Property is located quite near to many places like Happo One, Lake Aoki, oide park and many more. So was very convenient to visit any place. Also there is Big Aeon shop at 5 min drive, A dining place GUSTO opp to Aeon shop. The property has ample qty of cutlery and utensils so that we can even cook whatever we needed.

The house is also well-equipped, with everything you might need for a relaxing and convenient stay, from kitchenware to heating systems, I highly recommend Villa Komakusa for anyone visiting Hakuba, whether for skiing or simply enjoying the Japan Alps views.

Nestled in the beautiful nature in Hakuba, Big Bear Chalets & Apartments offers well-appointed accommodation fitted with kitchen facilities and an en suite bathroom. The host and his team were amazing. Very thorough with instructions, good tips, and offered great drop off services to ski fields, shops and dinner reservations. We had the perfect family ski trip at Big Bear.
