This was my favorite accomodation of all the 7 we experienced during our 2 weeks stay in Sri Lanka. Quiet location, beautiful garden, loved the decore, the rooms are so big, spacious, the mosy comfortable bed I slept in in Sri Lanka. Luxurious bathroom, everything was perfectly curated, attention to details and good quality in everything. Everyone on the staff is smiling, kind and willing to help with whatever you need. Breakfast is abbundant, indian,western and sri lankan options. I had such a lovely birthday surprise in the room (won't be a spoiler with the details...) - it really made my day! The manager was kind enough to even help us with laundry, free of charge. We highly appreciate all the support and totally recommend for your stay in Nuwara Elyia - you will love this place :)

Magnolia Hideout ligger i Nuwara Eliya och erbjuder boende med utsikt över staden samt en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och grillmöjligheter. Charming building with many antique accessories and furniture, it was beautiful. One if the highlight of our stay was this building. Everthing went smoothly. The location is bit out of center, but the town is small so it's not really a problem. They provided a heater which was very nice beacuse it got chilly in the evening. Highly recommende, great value!

The Edgware Cabana ligger i Nuwara Eliya och har bergsutsikt, en restaurang, en bar, en trädgård, en terrass och en gemensam lounge. The cabana itself is wonderful. It's beautifully decorated, spacious but cosy, and truly a special place to stay. But what really made our visit unforgettable was how the owner and staff supported us during unexpected extreme weather conditions during Cyclone Ditwah that affected the whole island. Because of floodings and landslides, all roads leaving Nuwara Eliya were closed and we couldn’t leave town for several days. The situation felt surreal and completely unforeseen, but the staff took incredible care of us. They checked on us constantly, kept us updated, cooked us amazing food and did everything possible to make sure we felt safe and comfortable. Their kindness and dedication went beyond what you normally expect from a hotel. The rooms in the main house were also great, and it was one of the only places in town with a working internet connection, which allowed us to stay in touch with home and follow the situation. A special mention goes to the owner, who was extremely supportive. When the roads partially reopened, he personally checked the roads early in the morning and went into town to find locals willing to drive us down safely. To give us extra reassurance, he even drove ahead of our taxi himself. We can fully recommend The Edgware to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya. Not only is it a beautiful place to stay, but the people make you feel genuinely cared for, even in the most challenging circumstances. Thank you again!

Keshiya Holiday Home ligger i Nuwara Eliya, 6 km från Gregory Lake, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis WiFi och rumsservice. Fantastic and friendly owner who supported us with everything. He gave us many advices regarding sightseeing, restauratns and shops. Delicious breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view. Lot of space, calm and tranquil surrounding. We could vist the House again.

Hilldale Retreat ligger i Nuwara Eliya och har bergsutsikt, en restaurang, en snackbar, en trädgård, en utomhuspool, en terrass och en gemensam lounge. Väldigt stor och bekväm säng. Magisk utsikt mot Bergen. Härligt med bastu och pool. God mat förutom frukostpåsen som hade en hel del att önska. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och service minded. Vi var dock där endast ca 12 Tim då det blev ett stopp innan vi åkte vidare med Ella tåget. Boendet ligger ca 15/20 min utanför stan dock.

Mount View Bungalow ligger i Hatton och erbjuder boende med utsikt över trädgården, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering, 41 km från Gregory Lake. The host was really nice and helpful! The facilities were clean and even better than expected. Situated close to the railway.

Oliphant Boutique Villa by Amaya har gratis cyklar, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge och erbjuder boende i Nuwara Eliya med gratis WiFi och utsikt över trädgården. Relaxing & comfortable stay with AMAZING food. Seriously. Best food I’ve ever had from a hotel/villa. The staff was super attentive and kind. Also, beautiful location and garden. I loved just sitting outside and taking in the scenery.

Luxe Wilderness - Private Villas, Free Breakfast, 2km from City Centre har utsikt över bergen och erbjuder boende med en uteplats och kaffemaskin, 13 km från Hakgala Botanical Garden. Läget med bedårande vy och ändå gångavstånd till stan. Sköna sängar och rent och frun älskade badrummet med badkaret och dess utsikt. När ni är här i Little England så vill jag varmt rekommendera att passa på att unna er en afternoon tea på Grand Hotel.
