A little difficult to find...it is behind a very plain facade, but once inside it was a modern and elegant oasis in the city. Very calming and comfortable lobby. Gamini,, the manager, was so hospitable. They will prepare (with notice) lunch and dinner and you can eat in your room or the dining room. Nice refreshing swimming pool...part of the reason I booked here. My ground floor room had a private walled garden with a bench...so romantic. The room was modern and spotless. They had the best towels, pillows, and blankets of my trip thus far. I hated to leave...but will be back

This is a beautiful place located in a serene and quite tea estate. You look out onto greenery and it instantly brings you close to nature. There's a beautiful forest of rubber trees close by, and you can take a bike ride or walk though it. The host is wonderful, kind, and hospitable. And they cooked great food. Come here if you want to get away from Colombo for a bit, or need some time in nature.

Truly exceptional service, spotless clean, amazing host, great location, quiet, lovely flower garden, excellent kitchen supplies including an oven and blender, clean drinking water (very rare in Colombo!), good air-conditioning, great wifi, no electricity outages, near the beach and grocery store. I've traveled to 80+ countries and never stayed in a million places, and never had such great service. The doctor and his staff were so helpful and kind, ensuring the place had everything we needed and even added special touches like candles and lovely soaps. It has great energy and a wonderful, sophisticated book collection too!
