This place is basically in the centre of Colombo but also completely calm surrounded by a nice garden, with a pool and seating around. It is an old nice wooden villa with a lovely atmosphere. Also we had a wonderful breakfast and the manager of the villa is a great man at the right place. Organised for us all we needed for a very good price and kids just loved him.

We had a lovely time at this homestay. The house is large and spacious with an abundance of room for everyone to have a comfortable stay. Inside the house was really clean and had all the amenities to make it feel like you were at home. The host was very friendly and helpful. The outdoor garden and veranda was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful & quiet. Didn't have time to play but you could play badminton. They even have rackets & net. Highly recommend this place that is located centrally in the heart of Colombo for those who seek quiet comfort with a luxury feel.

Villa Tea Escape is set in Mahingala and has a rooftop pool and garden views. There is a private entrance at the villa for the convenience of those who stay. This is a beautiful place located in a serene and quite tea estate. You look out onto greenery and it instantly brings you close to nature. There's a beautiful forest of rubber trees close by, and you can take a bike ride or walk though it. The host is wonderful, kind, and hospitable. And they cooked great food. Come here if you want to get away from Colombo for a bit, or need some time in nature.

Situated in Mount Lavinia, 2.2 km from Mount Lavinia Beach and 9.3 km from Bambalapitiya Railway Station, Charming Villa with Stunning Rooftop Sea View offers air conditioning. Amazing location with an amazing host. The house is a short tuk tuk ride away from all the shops you would need. Even though we checked in late and in the dark (due to power cut),the host was understanding and helpful, so much so he helped us get our necessities out of his own pocket, which we paid back immediately. The rooms are big with comfy beds and clean bedding. This would be our B&B in Colombo always.
