Located in Colombo, Colombo Villa features free WiFi, a garden and year-round outdoor pool. U.S. Embassy is 1.4 km away. Free private parking is available on site. From the minute we arrived the staff were attentive and interested in making our stay as comfortable as possible, especially I think as we were in our 70's, nothing was too much trouble, very professional. Breakfast was excellent. The Manager went out of his way to show us to a nearby very good restaurant, The Embassy. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a Colombo hotel which provided facecloths, along with a bath tub, it was a real treat! The pool was extremely clean. The neighbourhood very quiet making it a peaceful two night holiday. We will be back next time we have to go to Colombo for sure.

Maorika ma'am was incredibly kind and made sure we felt at home. She also treated us to an amazing Sri Lankan dinner. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable too.

We had a lovely time at this homestay. The house is large and spacious with an abundance of room for everyone to have a comfortable stay. Inside the house was really clean and had all the amenities to make it feel like you were at home. The host was very friendly and helpful. The outdoor garden and veranda was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful & quiet. Didn't have time to play but you could play badminton. They even have rackets & net. Highly recommend this place that is located centrally in the heart of Colombo for those who seek quiet comfort with a luxury feel.

All aspects of the property were lovely - the lush green tea fields were beautiful and learning about the process of their tea was fascinating. The lodging area was clean, comfortable, and spacious - we loved the view paired with the indoor pool. The food was delicious - My partner is Sri Lankan and we enjoyed the Sri Lanka dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were continuously impressed at the flavors. The staff is kind and helpful. All around, this was a wonderful getaway from the city for a weekend and we’re excited to return!

We discovered Teal Villa online two days before our departure for Sri Lanka and made a last minute decision to change our booking. Sherden made immediate contact and kept in close touch on our very late arrival into Colombo. He was there past midnight to greet us and show us around the property. What a wonderful find this property is. It’s a chance for a group of up to 8 to stay in a charming, beautifully furnished house with creeping bougainvillea, delightful private courtyards, and a lovely wrought iron bannistered-spiral staircase. The house is spacious, bright and clean, and has plenty of seating areas for people to find a quiet corner. Also, there is a billiards table at the top floor. There are air-cons and fans in every room, mosquito nets over the beds and every room has an en-suite bathroom so no need to share. Would come again in a heartbeat. Wonderful hospitality.

Truly exceptional service, spotless clean, amazing host, great location, quiet, lovely flower garden, excellent kitchen supplies including an oven and blender, clean drinking water (very rare in Colombo!), good air-conditioning, great wifi, no electricity outages, near the beach and grocery store. I've traveled to 80+ countries and never stayed in a million places, and never had such great service. The doctor and his staff were so helpful and kind, ensuring the place had everything we needed and even added special touches like candles and lovely soaps. It has great energy and a wonderful, sophisticated book collection too!
