The apartment we stayed in was perfect for a larger group. It was large, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. Loved the extras they gave us in the refrigerator. The breakfast was cook to order, everything nicely done. The building architecture was fascinating. If you can stay here, definitely do it.

We felt truly welcome and well taken care of at Casa Franco da Serra. This family-run hotel has a warm, homely atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The owner and her son were incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. We were even invited to a small family gathering over the weekend, and everyone was so warm and friendly! It was such a lovely way to experience real Portuguese hospitality on our first visit to Portugal. The hotel is located a bit outside the town center, so having a car is convenient for getting around. That said, we managed perfectly well using the bus (there’s a stop right in front of the house) and returning by taxi without any issues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Terceira who is looking for peace, nature, and a quiet retreat.

She is responsive, warm and such a beautiful, generous and gracious person. She takes care of her guests in such an authentic way. Ana's husband and daughter are so charming . We felt so much at home and I miss Ana already. The apartment is in a historical estate of Ana's family with beautiful gardens and a private chapel. The apartment is spacious, carefully designed with attention to the period of the estate and has beautiful restored furniture. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms moden and bright. There is plenty of relaxation and storage space. The kitchen had everything we needed as well as a basket of Azorean food which was so kind. There was also oil, vinegar , salt, coffee, tea, and spices. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean and impeccable. We were very sad to leave. We recommend highly..

The property was extremely clean and inviting. A very comfortable space. The grounds are beautiful. Our hosts were so accommodating and responsive, always asking what we needed, and giving those thoughtful little touches that make your stay that much better. The fireplace was so nice in the evenings. Just a lovely place overall. We also liked that it was situated in the middle of the north coast of the island, so traveling to see things both east and west was easy.
