Terrassiga Aurora River Camp Glass igloos & Cabs asub Kiirunas, 19 km kaugusel Kiiruna raudteejaamast, 17 km kaugusel Kiiruna bussijaamast ja 20 km kaugusel LKAB külastuskeskusest. The glass igloo facing the river side was excellant for viewing the amazing aurora all night long while staying in the warmth. On a clear evening at dusk, a staff on site came over to let us know that the aurora has started to be visible (we had the light on after returning from a day time activity so didn't realise) - very nice of her! We went on nighttime dog sledding into the woods on another night - one of the activities that we signed up on the camp's website. It turned out the aurora was particularly intense that night and it was spectacular! The snow covered landscape was beautiful. On a cloudy (i.e. warmer) evening, we follow the marked trail from the camp site to walk to the middle of the frozen river, it was an amazing experience. The shared kitchen and dinning area has multiple tables and rooms. It was at the same time cozy and at the same time allowed us to enjoy some small chat with other visitors.

Lovely location, close to the main road with a nice view. Very clean, gorgeous little cabin...plenty of room for 2-4 travelers. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Located in Kiruna and only 20 km from Kiruna Train Station, Aurora Lakeside Cabin Altajärvi provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. I really enjoyed my stay here! I even got to see the Northern Lights at night. The owner left very clear and easy-to-follow instructions on how to get to the place. The cabin itself was very well maintained, cozy, and clean. The host quickly helped me get oriented and explained where everything was. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely visit this place again!

Featuring lake views, Camp Caroli Olala provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 23 km from Kiruna Train Station. We spent a fantastic few days and have experiences of a lifetime. One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Great helpful owner Stefan. I will definitely come here again.

Located in Jukkasjärvi, 23 km from Kiruna Train Station and 21 km from Kiruna Bus Station, Camp Caroli Villa Aurora provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The lake view gave us an amazing opportunity to see huge northern lights, the hosts were really nice and helpful, the house was very clean, relaxing and welcoming, the tours (snowmobile, wilderness safari, ice hotel, dog sledding) were wonderfully organized and the hosts were flexible, we saw three moose on lake right outside the house, the beds were really comfortable, the house was warm enough (even at -36° outside), overall a great experience, we will come back! Thank you to Sten, Stefan and Zsolt for the amazing few days we had.

Järvevaatega Camp Caroli Mini lodge asub Kiirunas, 21 km kaugusel Esrange kosmosekeskusest ja 24 km kaugusel LKAB külastuskeskusest. Absolutely amazing location right on the lakeside, at the end of a road. Very comfortable unfolding couch to sleep on -- better (for me at least) than most hotel beds. Clear and timely communication from the host. Great temperature control options (heating & AC) & decent blinds to ward off the early sun in the summer. Built with privacy w.r.t the other lodge on the property in mind. But it is really the genius loci is really what sells this place. If we have a chance to come to the Kiruna area again, we're pretty sure to prefer this place for accommodation. (Oh and if you're here, do check out both the Sámi museum in Jukkasjärvi and the visitor center of the spaceport at Esrange. Both are nice, and even better is the juxtaposition of such distant worlds.)
