It was nice and quiet with no light pollution. The bedroom was exceptional with a large TV and fridge, plenty of room to sit and read, and a lovely four poster bed. The bathroom was very spacious and had a fantastic shower. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. I think their positive attitude is really what made this such a great place to stay. I’d highly recommend and we’ll be visiting again.

But it was clean, beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped, and the staff were helpful. They sold a lot of things in the shop as well, and rented towels which was helpful. There was also a bike shed which was helpful. Its a quiet area great for walking and cycling. A little bit off the Way of the Roses route if you're cycling, but not too bad,

From the moment we arrived the staff couldn’t have been more friendly, cosy real fire, excellent food ( breakfast and dinner😍) and welcomed our dog Ted. Room was excellent with views of the church and had everything we needed and more. Set in a gorgeous village within 15 minutes easy walk of Malham and great riverside walks. Highly recommend if you love peace and quiet, beautiful walks and the stunning countryside of the Dales.
