Set on the Bay of Biscay and surrounded by mountains, the Higueralde guest house is located 15-minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers rooms with central heating and free Wi-Fi. Spacious room with a superb view of the town and bay from the balcony. Attention to detail was obvious with beautifully laundered white linen and a breakfast that was plentiful, fresh and varied. The friendly greeting on arrival and helpful information given about where to eat in town, get petrol etc. was greatly appreciated. We look forward to returning to Higeralde in the future staying and eating at the planned restaurant with it's incredible view!

Casa Rural Ekoigoa is set in the heart of the Basque countryside, by the Urola River. There is free WiFi and free parking and Zumaia Beach is just 7 km away. really friendly welcome at reception and the room/facilities were everything that could’ve been expected.

Boasting mountain views, Casa rural Lastoetxe offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 21 km from Funicular de Artxanda. Great quiet location and the room was big and convenient next to the kitchen. Would stay again- convenient to get to beaches

Boasting a garden, barbecue facilities and views of mountain, El Tejado de Santa Ana is situated in Barrika, 1.7 km from Barrikako Beach. lovely private house now a hotel. Beautifully appointed with very comfortable bed. Pool in garden was very welcome.

Set in Mungia, 11 km from Bilbao, Basoan offers a garden and free WiFi. Basoan is located in a very peaceful and relaxing location. Everything was as expected, very clean and new, easy to access, plenty of parking. All the staff were friendly. The breakfasts were perfect, plenty of food and the two breakfast ladies very helpful, answering any questions about the local area/places to go and advice. We enjoyed the pool - plenty of sun loungers.

Featuring garden views, SOLOA LANDETXEA provides accommodation with patio, around less than 1 km from Bakio Beach. The building is located just next to the street - however it was surprisingly quiet. No problem with car parking on the opposite side of the street. Very attentive and friendly staff. Truly nice breakfast served each morning with great coffee. Wi-fi was working fine.

Set in Arrasate - Mondragon, Goiko Errota landetxea offers a shared lounge. The property has mountain and city views, and is 24 km from Sanctuary of Arantzazu. The place is really nice, quiet and and with very nice views. Everything is new, comfortable and very well equipped. The breakfasts are homemade and delicious, and Karmele is the best hostess I have ever had. Super friendly, helpful, willing to help with whatever one may need.

Offering quiet street views, CASA RURAL LARRAZURIA ENEA is an accommodation situated in Labastida, 39 km from Izki-Golf and 43 km from Mendizorroza Stadium. An excellent renovation to very old building. The bedrooms are on the second floor up a spiral staircase but there is an elevator just outside the room to take your bags up or if you don't want to use the spiral stairs. Judith greeted us and was very helpful.

Alojamiento Casa Indiana La Escondida in Muskiz provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a terrace. This country house offers free private parking and a housekeeping service. I stayed here for one night during my Camino del Norte pilgrimage. The accommodation is not directly on the Camino but the 15-minute detour was definitely worth it - what a lovely place! You can tell that the accommodation is run with a lot of love and attention to even the smallest details. Both my room and the common areas were beautiful, very clean and spacious. I would also like to mention the incredible owner - she made me feel welcome straight away and even took me to the nearest supermarket after a long day on the Camino! Once again, thank you. 😊 I would definitely come back!
