I was booking our stay at Hotel Marea based on the positive reviews, and I can tell you I really didn't regret it. The hotel itself is modern, the rooms are well sized. We received a fruit plate and 2 bottles of mineral water upon arrival, which came quite handy after a 10 hrs drive. Our room was on the 5th floor with a beautiful view to the bay. Our room was cleaned every single day, the cleaning ladies did a perfect job. Breakfasts were always nice. We booked bed and breakfast, but after trying the half board dinner on the first day we had dinner in the hotel almost every evening. Feel free to try it, you won't regret. The fitness room is well equipped, if you are a lifter you will find everything there for a decent training. The spa is also nice, although the steam bath was out of order during our stay, we had a great time there trying the sauna, the tropical shower (warning, amazing sound effects!), and the pools (indoor+outdoor). I also tried a massage and a body treatment, the service was flawless and professional. The staff was always helpful and ready to support whatever the question would be. We had some issues with the A/C, but it was solved very fast. I can't highlight anybody, while the reception staff, the cleaning ladies and the restaurant staff were all very nice and polite. Getting to the beach takes 190 steps down the hill, but it is worth the effort. You should only consider this while drinking those bears at one of the beach bars, so that you should climb back to your hotel.

Every thing was like perfect the place has an elevator they do the laundry the breakfast is great the place is calm two good restaurants in the neighborhood the assistant Elisabeth is a nice lady was so welcoming and helpful

Un lugar muy calido, la señora de la recepción es muy amable y servicial, la ubicación es perfecta para recorrer los mejores puntos del pueblo. El desayuno muy variado y rico. En nuestra experiencia, no pudimos llegar al horario estimado, así y todo nos esperaron y nos recibieron de una excelente manera y nos ayudaron a resolver todo tipo de inconveniente.
